Long story short, I designed a dress with my old character, and at least had the foresight to upload the QR codes online, so I downloaded the design again with the intent of displaying it in my clothing shop (partly for old times' sake since it was displayed in my first town too, and partly to get rid of the generic designs that my villagers keep wearing because I'm sick of that crap). Problem is, apparently downloaded pro designs can't be displayed in the shop (only the owner can do that). I'd like to recreate the dress entirely, but I can't find a way to display the individual patterns used in its making, and I doubt I could redo it exactly just by eyeballing the images. I found an Android app that can reset ownership on the design to the user's, but I have an iPhone so that's not an option. Any ideas?

I've thought about this for a little while, and the only idea I've had (it might be a longshot) is maybe try to scan the QR code itself with this?

I have never usee it so I don't know how it work, but it seems like it could generate the design from the QR code itself (you would have to do each side individually however).

Let me know how it goes >.<

OK, cool, that works! I don't think I can input my own creator data into the image directly, since my computer doesn't have an SD card slot (protip: when an old computer dies, don't buy refurbished Wal-Mart models as a quick replacement, even if you're broke), but it does display the pixel make-up of each side, so I can recreate it exactly. Much obliged for your help!

I use Animal Xing Designer. It's an app for Android that lets you upload QRs under your own name so you can display them.
