Any way around getting a voided villager? :/

I sold something to someone yesterday and I didn't ask them if they had a clear void. I didn't think it would be that important but clearly I was mistaken. I load up my game today in hopes of getting a plot with a cool peppy villager only to find Mathilda keeps setting up her plot in the worst places. I already have enough villagers that I'm trying to get rid of without getting another one! I changed the date to the next day to see if that would make any difference but it hasn't.

Please tell me there's some way around this?

Sorry but there is no way around it, once you loaded up your character its locked in.

I loaded up with a secondary character though?

it doesnt matter what character you load up with, once you load up a pre-existing character it locked into the game

I think Hazel is using a new character, not an existing one. Hence the plot being in multiple places, as mentioned in the OP. :)

As for avoiding a voided villager...hm. Well, the only thing I can think to try is to time travel to yesterday (preferably sometime after you played) and see if you can invite somebody in from another town. The invited villager should have priority over the voided one.

Yes I am, sorry I didn't make that clear.

Would that work? What if I can't find a villager to invite?

System time travel back a day, then play your game if you haven't ised any pre made characters. Just keep on that day until you find a dreamie! :)

Oh right okay. That's a bit of bummer but it can't be helped I suppose. It beats getting a villager I don't want anyways! I always seem to miss my dreamies in the plaza though... Fingers crossed I won't this time! :L :L

Thanks for the help everyone! :)

I've played the same day for weeks at a time. It's really not that bad! Other than having nothing new in the shops and building PWPs/expanding your home there aren't too many limits on what you can do. Good luck finding a dreamy - or at least someone you like a lot better than Mathilda!

Haha I can catch up on my encyclopaedia at least :) I was actually pretty lucky, someone pmd me about buying one of my dreamies from them so hopefully that will go to plan and I won't be stuck on this one day for too long! :)
