Any tips on landscaping/designing towns?

I've been playing the game for a month and i'd love for my town to be all gorgeous like I've seen some of yours. I put in the beautiful town ordinance last night. But here's the thing, I don't have much IGB to pay anyone to landscape. What would you suggest? About how much TBT is a good landscaping job worth?

you should honestly spend your bells on getting yourself a golden axe instead, and put the time into making it the exact way you want it.
Its always more fun to express your vision than let someone elso do it.
Only thing youll really need to do is cut down all your trees, and a golden axe is necessary for starting off.

Also note that you can get as many flowers as you want from tours, so start bringing them home!

I've got a golden axe from a giveaway recently, so I'll start working on cutting trees down soon. Thank you! As for the fruit on my trees, do you suggest I just replant them lining my paths where I want them?

ya thats a good way to do it
you may want to give them some space vertically so you can see the whole tree in case theres bugs on them
and no point in putting them on the southern parts of your paths, since you will be walking above them (and scaring any bugs you see off of them too)
those are just suggestions tho, you can do it any way you feel like, of course!
