Any tips on how to get the sloppy set?

Hi!


I would really like to get the sloppy set. I have a few pieces but they are from Wendell's RV.

Any help would be lovely!♥♥♥

sometimes villagers can give you the set, or it can be sold in re-tail if you have a villager that has the sloppy furniture in their house. i suggest looking out for benjamin if he's in your campsite or someones giving him away, since he has majority of the set in his house. best of luck though with finding the furniture!

Have lots of lazy villagers and open spots in your Re-Tail, I use to get them all the time that way.
Apparently, they show up in the Police Station too.
In my five years of playing though, I've not once seen one there.

You can also try buying them from other people.

I always make sure to buy out retail so there’s always available spots. I also know certain villagers have pieces in their houses, marshall is the only one i can remember off the top of my head though.

All villagers have the sloppy and cardboard set in their catalog. Found a sloppy clock in my main town retail from Tutu. She was a starter villager and the clock wasn't in her house.
I've only had one offer to buy something while visiting a villagers house. Passed because I wanted Graham to keep it.

If you have a spare town and don't care about the villager houses buy out retail. Leave it empty and wait. Each day I played I bought everything from retail. Sloppy started to appear. I was able to complete 7 plus sets for the sloppy and cardboard series. They'll put it up for sale for a very low price. Gave sets away and kept some for a few towns. Villagers that had the sloppy pieces in their houses never put them up for sale at retail in my real/spare towns.

Read posts that you can get it from the police station. I've played since the release and have found no sloppy items there.

Yeah, all villagers can put em up in Re-Tail if it's empty iirc. And yeah building the police station is a good idea, although it's more rare.

Pretty sure only Jacob has the cardboard bed and table. Resetti does have a nice trash can that would fit with the sloppy stuff though.

You could loot Marshal's house. Just break in and take everything ...

Please don't though. I love Marshal.
