I'm currently cycling in my 2nd town but there are a few villagers I got as starters and managed to adopt that I absolutely love.
They're:
Kiki (starter)
Olivia (adopted)
Monique (adopted)
Tabby (starter)
Bree (adopted)
Tiffany (adopted)
Yes, I realise that 4 of them are snooties. I never even liked snooties at first before I saw these villagers in dream towns. I initially thought of trading Tiffany but I really like her so yeah... I'm thinking of starting an all-female town (eventually). Any thoughts?
I think the only problem that I would personally have with it is that you would have so many duplicate personalities that a lot of the speech would become very repetitive. Other than that, whatever floats your boat.
I don't see why not. I tend to prefer the designs of the girls more. The only problem I would have is what the others mentioned really. The repetitive conversation that will take place. I also like having one of each personality to keep things interestingly. But if that doesn't bother you I say go ahead. ^^
That would get really dry and boring for me. I like to keep things interesting so I will take any villager unless they're horribly ugly and/or disfigured.
It personally doesn't appeal to me. It also is limiting in what Public Works Projects can be suggested. Now, if you have your town long enough, and the Public Works Projects were requested by numerous villagers no longer in your town, then a one-gender-only town to your liking is not a problem. But, since you asked, it doesn't personally appeal to me.

I should add: It may be interesting to have a town with ten villagers. All but that tenth villager would be the same gender. The tenth villager should be a Cranky or a Snooty. It may make one's town pretty interesting.

My main town has got quite a few boys. Actually Zucker and Rudy are probably my two most loved villagers and they're both male. XD
I just thought it would be interesting to try something a bit different. I might eventually end up moving one of my snooties over to my main town (once - and if ever- Kitt decides to move out -.-).
