Any species that you collectively dislike?

We all got some likes and dislikes when it comes to the different animals in the game, but are there any types of animals that, no matter their personality or maybe even design, you just can't bring yourself to like?

For me, one species that comes to mind is the octopi. There's only 3, but the idea of having octopi as villagers, plus those weird O mouths is just... not at all appealing to me. The anteaters, chickens, crocodiles, horses, cows/bulls, and tigers all don't appeal to me either, mostly due to their design though. I wouldn't want any villagers of these species in my town at all.

Are there any species like that for you - ones that you see and just kind of go "nah" and never want to look at again?

Oh boy there's a lot actually. I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this, but I would never keep gorillas, bears, anteaters, bulls, chickens, kangaroos, pigs, or hippos.

I love hippos, pigs, kangaroos, and chickens IRL though!

Frogs. I would say hamsters because they just look a little weird to me...

the gorillas and hippos. now that you mention it i think octopi look slightly weird looking because of their gigantic O mouth.

I don't like gorillas, simply because I like more traditionally cute villagers (cats, deer, cubs etc.).

I also don't like the dogs in this game. Dogs have an incredible variation within their species, and I feel that they're not done justice in the game since they all have the same face shape. I mean you got your shih tzu, shibas, collies, old English sheep dogs, German shepherds, but the dogs in ACNL all look like beagles, and while I like beagles, I just think it's a shame there's not a wider variation.

I usually prefer the design of animals that are animals that are not farm animals & usually have pointed ears like cats & wolves.

But at the end of the day I go by personality.

I don't like the alligator, koala, anteater, mouse, chicken, elephant, tiger, bear, sheep, kangaroo, cow, ostrich, gorilla, horse and lion villagers. I know that is a lot of villagers. I'm just very picky.
