Does anyone know of any other games that are quite chilled, lighthearted, with not too much combat and have a stylised art style? Other than Stardew Valley and ones mentioned above? :)

Tbh Minecraft survival mode is really chill to play too imo but it's a bit more on the gamer side than the life sim side

Maybe play on peaceful difficulty to avoid enemies and monsters

Thanks but I've actually been playing this game already. It sure is a great game! :)

Rune Factory is basically a Harvest Moon RPG. There's been a bit more combat focus in the latter entries, but that basic premise is still there. You may or may not have played it already given you mentioned Harvest Moon.

Also, Story of Seasons is the new Harvest Moon if you haven't played those games. Natsume kept the Harvest Moon name and still makes their own games, but Story of Seasons is the true Harvest Moon.

Idk if you would consider this, but Sims? It's such a funny game to play- especially when you're bored.

Ooblets is a really cute game that is currently in development! It's a mix of animal crossing, pokemon, and stardew valley from what i've seen.

Any game in the Rune Factory series? Very similar to Harvest Moon; in fact, it was marketed as "a fantasy Harvest Moon." There is some combat, though no more than in Fantasy Life.

And, I've never played this game, but, My Time At Portia? It seems to be quite similar to the games you mentioned, and it appears to be quite popular right now.

I'm designing one  called Rohkus it's nowhere near done I'm still planning it out, dialogue, artwork (need HELP with that btw), all around story planning. I'm hoping to work with a developer at some point this year. It's gonna be a blend of all the games I like! Including ac, hm, Sims, rune factory :)

I warmly recommend the franchise "Enchanted Folk and the School of Wizardry" (named "Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times" in America). It's very similar to Animal Crossing, except you're at a magical school and instead of completing villager errands, you attend classes to learn spells and solve puzzles involving magical creatures that occur in real-time. It's really fantastic! Sadly only the first game was released outside of Japan (and you'll have to search for it second-hand, probably) but it's brilliant. :) If you don't mind combat on the same level as Fantasy Life (I LOVE THAT GAME!!) I'd also recommend Ever Oasis, which involves building a small community around an oasis in a desert and fighting a destructive power. I'd love to see more support for these games, as well as the hugely underrated Fantasy Life! :)
