Any opinions on Groucho, Del & Frank?

I'm looking for a new Cranky villager to invite and I've been considering these three villagers: Groucho the bear, Del the alligator, and Frank the eagle. They also have different hobbies.

I've never had them before, so I'm curious what they're like.

Groucho's facial expression is the best. I like the idea of a big grumpy bear but that's just me lmao. Maybe look up their houses to help you decide?

I've never had any of those three villagers, but if I had to pick one, I would pick Del (based purely on personal preference).

Groucho's house looks really cool from the outside. But I like Frank's and Del's interior.

My boyfriend has Del on his island and we both think he's a really cool villager. I also like Frank's design. I've seen him a few times while island hopping and he looks cool.

Oh. That's cool. All I've read is that Del's eyes turn red when doing certain reactions.

frank’s cool! i’ve never been a huge fan of the eagles but he has a neat design!

Groucho is awesome! Had him in my island long ago but really liked him! Del isn’t my favorite cranky but I like that he’s based off of a ship. Frank has a awesome color scheme!

I can absolutely recommend Groucho! I've been having him since pretty early on in the game - I think he was my 6th villager? - and don't regret it. He is a cute mix between grumpy most of the time and genuinely happy sometimes and yes, as others have stated, he likes music. Though on my island he seems to only sing as long as you are not too obviously listening and he tends to miss a few notes He is the only villager calling me by a nickname, and he didn't even come up with that one himself - Pate did, but by the time she left, she had long given me another one.
I don't know any of the other two, but the heavy metal bear is definitely awesome.

Out of those 3 my fave if definitely Del. Battleship alligator? Yes, please! Groucho is cute. Frank is...not my favorite eagle, not gonna lie.

Cranky bear villagers are amazing. I won't go into the details, but they are giant teddy bears that sometimes say scary things and sometimes cute things. Their expressions are really funny as well.

I've tried a few crankies before ending up with Grizzly, including Kabuki and Roscoe, and I love Grizzly the most.

Cranky is one of my favourite personalities. Out of those three I'd go for Del as he looks like he's not playing around. Actually had them all in New Leaf at some point before Welcome Amiibo. Now in NH I picked Dobie and Ike, and had Hopper before. I also had Gruff but he's just kind of eh.
