Any nods to the real you?

I'm still adding more to mine. I bet the whole back and side walls will be covered soon enough lol

I try to make my Animal Crossing world reflect an ideal version of my real world, so nothing is super subtle.

For example, my bedroom is modeled after my childhood bedroom. Right down to the magazine with an ad for Mega Man X4 that I read daily leading up to Christmas 1997. View attachment 251395
My irl friend would LOVE your room. He loves Sonic and Mega Man.
He has a lot of Sonic references he has in his island, including it being named Angel Isle . Today is actually his birthday. ^-^

I've ordered over 10 golden octagonal glasses to wear with all my wand outfits because they're the exact glasses I wear in real life :3

I had a pet orchid mantis until last year. In game I have an orchid mantis in my room. What's even more amusing is that ALL orchid mantis in game are female as they have obvious gender differences which matches my little lady. <3
When I spotted one in game on an island when the game first dropped I went CRAZY trying to get one just to remind me of my little lady.

not too much, but there is a desk in my rep's house that has a stack of documents and pink laptop which is literally what my desk looks like at all times IRL. but not most of it, my island themed to look like a fairy-tale castle and i certainly don't have a leaning tower of pisa outside my window lol.

actually i haven't yet but i love the idea! maybe i'll do something artsy or dogs lol. my villagers are mostly my favorite animals so idk if that counts :')

I'm putting together a diplodocus in the middle of the rural area of my island, because I love weird tourist attractions (and it will definitely have a gift stall).

I don't play as myself in games in general, so not really, no. I actually plan to make multiple characters in this game, all with their own personal identities and styles.

I'm currently in the process of making a classroom in one of my rooms, as I'm studying to become an elementary school teacher! I'm surprised by all of the great school items they have in this game!

To be honest, no. I should make my villager look like me more, instead of a dude dressed as a middle aged mother.

I put a bunch of cardboard boxes and cardboard box furniture in to my character's living room yesterday, then filled in the rest with mostly pet-themed furniture, so a cat tower, litterbox, pet food bowl, cat grass, pet bed, etc. So it's like the character and their pet is in the process of moving in. And I have a lil paper tiger that I pretend is the pet cat.

I can't have a pet where I am in real life at the moment, and it really sucks because i love having a cat. So I guess this room in game is my hope for the day I get my own place and can finally get a cat. Edit: here is a pic

Well, I'm kinda doing something like this with my house. Like, I'm trying to build in a way that is close to what I would do IRL if I had any money.

I'm building my basement as a home studio, something I always wanted to do since I started playing guitar back when I was 13 (20 years ago). One of my rooms is a mini arcade. Although I wouldn't really have an arcade at home, with lots of machines, I would love to have two specific games (an astro cabinet with Street Fighter III: Third Strike and a pinball table of Medieval Madness).

Other than that, I'm kinda decorating a kitchen, a bathroom and my bedroom the best way I can with what I have available in the game - very different to what I would do IRL if I could.

So, as for subtle nods, I would say it's the arcade fighting game machine I have in the backroom, courtesy of a friend I met on Instagram a couple years ago, who has the same love for SF3 and is now playing AC too. Everyone who knows my hobbies and get into that room knows that, for me, the generic arcade fighting game machine item is an SF3 astro cabinet

Well, my character is literally me. Name and all, and I have a picture of my real life girlfriend's character in my character's house as well as a ring that she bought for my character in our games, hopefully as a little nod to the love of my life. That felt like a mouthful.

I'm planning to make a little bunny hidden spot for my bunny pet that passed away some years ago, like a little memorial for her. I don't want to make it sad, I want to put things that remind me of her, like how mischievous she was... But I'm still unsure about what to use

Besides using my real name, I feel like I haven't put any of my aspects of what I do in this game at all. I'm kinda confused on this, but if this is what you mean, then okay.

Ok now something less sad, I'm a Digimon nerd and I have Gabumon's portrait around lol
