Easter season is here! Here's what we have going on at The Bell Tree:- The egg decorating contest is back! Join TBT’s Fifth Egg Decorating Contest, now with two distinct categories: decorating and painting. Entries must be submitted by April 9th.
- Starting this Friday at 7PM EDT, follow clues to search for eggs around the forum in TBT's Thirteenth Annual Easter Egg Hunt. New eggs will appear throughout the weekend and the hunt ends on April 6th!

what villagers?? for the desert area, start running on the grass as soon as you start. it takes awhile, so start early. you could have lemon trees since they are yellow, as well as orange and cherry/apples trees (warm colors). also use hibiscus bush starts.
Maybe you can just divide your town into 4 different regions with different vegetation and PWP projects. The desert region with only a few dead trees and lemon trees near the river, and the Pyramid, Sphinx, and Stone Tablet.
An urban region near you town hall, few trees but a lot of bushes for hedges. Place your Police Station and Cafe in this area as well as Benches, Streetlights, a Clock, Fountain, maybe a park as well with a Jungle Gym, Sandbox, and Drinking Fountain.
A forest region with lots of pine trees and flowers. Your Campsite, a Fire Pit, Hammock, Log Bench, a Water Pump, and the Windmill would look good in that area.
A jungle region with trees and bamboo spread throughout. You can place a Geyser, Hot Spring, Rack of Rice, and the Zen Garden and Zen Bell in this area.

You could simulate an oasis depending on your town layout. If you've got a lake in a large open area away from buildings, you could plant some fruit trees around it or something and surround the rest with dead trees/sand tiles.
