Any Guild Wars 2 players out there?

I myself have only recently finished the story of the expansion pack (bit late, I'm aware). It was not quite what I was expecting, but I loved how the characters interacted instead of the usual cutscene-sort-of-thing. Felt a bit more alive and all that.

Since I don't personally know any hardcore WvW or PvP players, how have the new specializations changed the game? And how are the new maps. From what I understand, PvP is pretty much useless if you don't own Heart of Thorns.

I used to play this. I regret purchasing HoT, though. I haven't been playing the game since!

I play, but not much anymore. My hubby bought it for himself and I started a character on his account. Then over a year later (after Heart of Thorns released), I bought a copy for myself and started over.

I like the game, but I haven't done any endgame stuff, since I quit after I got my ranger to level 80.

I love Guild Wars! One of the best quest and MMO games out there imo
