Any generally disliked villagers that you like?

I'm talking about villagers that are sort of disliked, not just unpopular. My villager would be Wart Jr.! I've seen so much hate for him on here but I have a soft spot for him. When my sister and I played the first animal crossing for gamecube we picked out "boyfriends" for our player. Mine was Ace and hers was Wart Jr. We still laugh about it to this day. <3

I really happen to like Jambette, Astrid, Beardo, Bella, Chops, Gruff, Graham, and most of the lion villagers even if they aren't considered stereotypically 'cute'. To me, villager personality and actually having them in my town matters more than how their outside appearance is.

I've seen that a lot of people don't like Wart Jr, Moe, Truffles, and Antonio. They are my 4 favorite villagers <3

ive seen lion villagers, though not outright hated, not liked at all :^(
mott is my sweetheart...i had him on ww and cf, and both times hes always been super nice to me. if i have to ever pick a fav villager it will always be him, though julian and fang are my new pals in nl!

once, someone in my village mentioned that felicity visited his house...since then i still harbour somewhat unwarranted and pretty irrational hate for her :^B

Graham, I don't get the hate for him I have him in my town and he's pretty funny plus he's given me decent items ( like bamboo shoot and lychee because I don't have T and T emporium)

I like Katt a bit. Some people call her ugly, but I don't think she is. I've also grown to like Muffy.

I love Olaf, he looks like Michael Jackson, and I've run with that. I also really love Hans, he looks like a yeti. I really like villagers that look like other things, but I've seen both of them getting a fair bit of hated.

I really like Tabby. I had her in my old town and she grew on me despite her ugly looks.

Is Curlos disliked? It seems like almost every giveaway thread I've seen for him ends in the void with no replies. He might just be a case of not ugly enough to be infamous but not special enough to be wanted rather than being truly disliked but it seems like there are more Jambette fans than Curlos fans on the forum... Any publicity is good publicity I suppose, some villagers are so hated that the infamy gives them a fanbase while the more toned down ones fade into obscurity.

If Curlos doesn't count as disliked then I'll go with Bella the peppy mouse, I didn't like her at first but she grew on me. I could say that about a lot of villagers really but Bella is one that I see get mentioned occasionally in ugly villager threads.

Tabby is one of my favorite villagers and I just adore her strange design. She looks sort of macabre on account of her skeleton shirt and the very odd way her nose is drawn. A lot of people just don't have the taste for the stranger looking villagers, I suppose! I also adore Truffles to bits (who is apparently disliked according to her wiki page...Strange to have something like that under trivia when it's not any REAL information, but whatever!) And I saw someone mention Beardo in this thread? That's strange! He's my number one favorite and I couldn't imagine him being widely disliked because his design is so cute. I guess people don't typically gravitate towards dorky, middle-aged men type characters as I do, though!

Not many people I've talked to like Astrid that much. However, I've grown to like her quite a lot...having her in town since I started has made her grow on me.
