Any favorite villagers lost?

It's happened to me, it's probably happened to you, in fact, it happens a lot. Like way to often. WHYYYYYYY.

It's happened twice now where one of my best friends in Animal Crossing moved away.

The first time was in Animal Crossing: City Folk. I had two best friends, Boone and Kiki. I played a lot, but at one point I went a really long time without playing. When I came back, Boone was gone ;-; Kiki isn't allowed to leave.

Then in New Leaf, I (again) had two best friends, Elmer and Coco. It was April Fools Day, and I was looking forward to getting my villagers pictures. I bet you will never ever guess when Coco decided to move. Go on, guess.

APRIL FOOLS DAY.

So, has this ever happened to you? It's tragic, but maybe one day we can get our villagers back Wont that be a day...

Definitely. In New Leaf, Moose left when I couldn't find my 3DS charger, and he was my all-time favourite villager at the time, and recently, Lobo in my Wild World game left me, now once Jitters moves out of my New Leaf town I'm gonna start looking to get Lobo in New Leaf, but it was still pretty upsetting.

Canberra, Daisy, Kid Cat, and Julian all left without telling me when I was careless while TTing. Since then I have gotten much better at TTing safely but it still broke my heart...

In my first town that I don't say nothing about that I lost Aurora
But then when I knew my best friend had it I was happy but appeanrtly she moved away and went to my ex boyfriend town
I erase that town and stared zebilage and of course I got back with my Aurora

I screwed up with TTing and lost one of my favorite villagers, Genji. I was so distraught. I was too lazy to do the 16-villager-cycle (it really is outrageous). I have Rudy now, who is proving as a good replacement. I liked Pippy too. I see them on mainstreet now though, so I guess that's alright.

yea. usually im very fortunate in the sense i can be gone for a few months and come back and no one left? but ive been less fortunate before @@ once i had to give up a villager bc she put her house right infront of my cafe, sandwiched between the cliff and the cafe. couldnt handle it, i tried to make it work. shes safe in my new town now tho, i didnt know plot resetting back then

When I messed up with TT'ing, I went through the 16 villager cycle speed cycling and got my lost villagers back.

I've had the same town for over two and a half years now. Jeremiah the lazy frog, my all time favorite villager, was one of my starter villagers and had been in my town since day one until about a month ago when he moved out while I was on vacation with my family. Francine moved out shortly after. It sucks when that happens, but at the same time, I now have Shari, Yuka and Willow in my town, and I really like them c:

Bunnie, Dotty, and Daisy have all ninja-left on me and I was distraught. Especially Bunnie, she was my all-time favorite. BUT she shows up on main street all the time and she moved from my town to my sister's so I get to visit her (and she still remembers me!)

diana back in my first town. i loved her house and she was very beautiful. she left me when i basically left the game.
and if my villagers had the gall of trying to move on my birthday i'd be totally angry at them no matter who it was.
and if they said april fools i'd be doubly mad. i really hate it when someone tries to fool me on my birthday... even if it's just a game i still get triggered when someone makes a joke about my birthday... that's why i don't particularly like the event going on in the game on april fools. because it's just kind of like... april fools isn't even a real holiday. and the only thing i get out of it in both real life and the game are people that want to pull pranks on me on my birthday.

Mostly when I've messed up through my own stupidity I even consciously decided on letting one of my favourites go before (Erik) just because I couldn't get anybody else to leave and Fauna was available, who the time I desperately wanted and kept missing out on I've got him back now but that was a big regret.
I did lose Genji by complete accident. I still don't know how it happened, I was tt'ing, which I do a lot anyway and I'm pretty good at never having lost anybody before or since. For some reason he just didn't ping me and instead of thinking it was suspicious as I would now, I just carried on tt'ing and he was in boxes sped through the 16 villager cycle for him without losing anybody else. Was extremely stressful and I don't think I'd do it again so I'm extra careful now

Well, so I didn't really lose Octavian, I actually let him go.
Yesterday I let him go, because I was gonna get a new villager, and I was full.
I already miss him so much. At first he was kinda mean to me, but since we became good friends, he became a lot nicer in the end. I literally want to cry when I see his picture in my house.

Yep marina just moved and I have got her in my other town but idk if it's worth it to 16 villager cycle, I probably won't, I'll just get another normal I guess
