Any Effective Way to Get Villagers to Leave?

I was just about to get a villager today from someone and just as I load up the game, someone's moving in! (in an inconvenient spot at that) Is there ANY WAY I can get someone to leave??? Please help!! I'm desperate.

Travel to the day after they move in, save, time travel 4 days after. Talk to a few villagers to see who is moving, if no one? Advance another day. Keep doing it until someone moves. Hopefully it's someone you don't want.
