Any Earthbound/Mother fans out there?

Has anyone else heard of the fantabulous game Earthbound? I had firstheard of this game from the equally fantabulous Chuggaaconroy and I just fell in love with this series! Anyone wanna talk about this game? P.S., Mr. Saturn is the greatest NPC ever!

Oh gawd, yes! This was probably the first game series I've ever cried to while watching someone play when I was around 8-9.

And yes, I also watched Chugga play it. He was the reason I fell in love with the series as well.

I disagree, Flint is. He's Chuck Norris, even after so many thing had happen to him.

I've finished Mother 3 and I'm halfway through Earthbound, but there's already an Earthbound thread in the Nintendo forum

I'm playing thought Earthbound myself at the moment. I didn't actually hear from it through Chuggaaconroy, but considering that he's the guy who's introduced me to a multitude of my favourite games, I figured that it'd be worth giving a shot. I haven't regretted it since.

I've beaten Earthbound (Mother 2) two times. I'm going to probably get a GBA emulator to play Mother 3.

I beat Earthbound/Mother 2 sometime within the last year and I cried like a baby. The game was absolutely amazing. I deleted my first file and started a new one but I haven't gotten around to beating it a second time. I don't think I'll cry like I did the first time since I know what will be coming.

I bought Mother 3 for GBA from someone on Amazon and I got so caught up with class and finals I sort of forgot I had it. I need to get back into it since I didn't get very far and I've read it's a very lengthy game.

I've never played the series, but after hearing so much praise for it there's no way I'm missing an opportunity to get my hands on one of the games.

Ahh yes! I've been playing it on my 3DS for a few days now and I'm up to the part where you have to defeat those moles in the mine. Paula has screwed me a bunch though since she's the one that always dies in my team and misses the enemy everytime when she attacks

I haven't play any of the earthbound games sadly I know I need to start playing those games as soon as possible x.x.. Also I heard that a group of fans is making a Mother 4 game which is free to play not sure if they have finish the game yet though. But if you google Mother 4 you should find their page.

I've beaten Earthbound and played through most of Mother 3 but lost my save data. Anyway the games are great and I want Kumatora for smash.

I'm a massive fan. I've unfortunately never played Mother, but from what I hear/seen it's a very frustrating and tedious game to play because the genre wasn't as refined back then.

I've been following the development of Mother 4 for around 4 years now and I'm more and more excited by the day for when they release it. I've already waited it out to 2 different release dates they've set - It's going to either be an amazing game that lives up to the legacy of the previous games or a flop that tries to capture the spirit of it all.

I'll have fun with it either way.

Soo I've been hearing about the sword of kings and decided to try getting it. Wasted 2 hours of my life and got nothing. Paula kept dying a bunch so I had to use my horn of life on her. Wish I could just keep her dead but the text annoys me when it's red

The Sword of Kings isn't worth it because by the time you get it you're high enough level to beat the game.
