I would expect jack/halloween stuff and farming/brewster on different updates... I sure hope they do september and october instead of october and november, but idk... Farming might be connected to thanksgiving

Really hope they do a September update rather than wait until October,, I'd expect the September update to be mostly about the new farming feature while the October would be for halloween.

I'm hoping. I know nothing was announced in the August update re: September (as it mostly focused on Jack), but it'd be great if there were some new additions in the fall that don't have to do with holiday events that traditionally occur at that time of year anyways.

I agree that Brewster and possibly harvest-related events would fit in nicely with the fall, though I suppose if they're announced in October, that'd still be fall in the Northern Hemisphere so there would still be time for people to enjoy it.

Yes I really hope for a fall update too! Something to celebrate the beginning of the new season. I’d love some food items like pumpkin stuff that food stuff will probably come with the thanksgiving update?
But it sure would be nice I agree. Then again they never gave us information about updates super short notice so idk..it would make me happy but i don’t think we’ll get anything for September

As I said in another thread:

I hope the update isn't in October because that means they'll once again skip a small holiday (April Fools RIP, Mother's and Father's Day RIP, Summer Solstice RIP) aka Labor Day and the Autumn Harvest Festival and possibly even Explorer's Day.

For the record I absolutely don't count items being available in the NookStop as them celebrating the holiday. I want dialogue and Isabelle or Tom Nook or SOMEONE to acknowledge its existence!

Something tells me that there will be only a small update perhaps in September, while a major one will coming then in October because of Halloween and such. Sure, I'm all in for any updates, but I kinda doubt that we will get a big one in the coming month.

Given the pumpkins in the last update, I'd say it's wishful thinking to expect an announcement this week. I'd expect the update announcement video towards the end of September.
