Annoying **** Your School Does

Well the toilets flooded and there was urine flooding the hall and they just let us casually walk through it.
Talk about repulsive, i remember back in Elementary in which half the hallway flooded in Toilet Water and Urine.

I'm surprised the teachers just ignored it.

My high school principal was a stuffy old lady who cranked the air conditioning to make all the girls cover themselves because t-shirts were too revealing. We wore mittens to class.

Everything honestly. Students in my school get away with waaay too much than they should. Only one of the teachers is strict and the rest give so much slack so my entire class literally talks like 50% of the time during classes. My class always ALWAYS turns in things late too but they receive no consequences and it's unfair to the few people like me who actually turn in stuff on time.

Other than that, the lunch period is annoying because we can't use our phones. Actually, iPads are allowed, but now they recently banned those at lunch too. Everything is so backwards that it's annoying.

Also, so many technical things are wrong which is even more frustrating. One of the classrooms is either always boiling hot or ice cold and you will never know until you get in there. It also constantly smells awful in there.

I recently graduated from college, but they used to serve the most EGREGIOUS cafeteria food. One time their sloppy joes made puke all over my parents' truck and I was sick for the whole day. Another time I started eating their breakfast for a week because I ran out of groceries. As a result I got food poisoning and was TERRIBLY sick for a week, during school. I was so close to going to the emergency room. I also never thought any cafeteria could screw up CHEESECAKE. It was and still is the WORST cheesecake I have ever eaten in my 23 years of living. Actually the very first thing that popped in my mind when I was thinking about not dealing with anymore when I graduated was not having to eat their food. Despite all of their crap, they nailed several food and I do tend to miss them (chicken noodle/orzo soup, rotisserie chicken, cookies, spaghetti, macaroni and beef, omelettes, chicken wings, chicken sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches. Just their chicken alone was great!)

Lol I could ramble about school for hours. I'm just gonna say I'm glad I'm the heck out of it and free to think for myself now. I've never been very interested in science, but at least if I want to learn it now I can learn GENUINE science from places other than their lousy textbooks.

FIRE ALARM RANG FOR THE FOURTH TIME THIS WEEK BECAUSE LIL IDIOTS KEEP SETTING IT OFF FOR A LAUGH

LIKE TEACHERS GET CCTV OR STOP THEM OR SOMETHING???

i've been out of public school for almost ten years now, but i remember how much they didn't care about bullying. when i was bullied during 3rd - 4th grade, the teachers were a bunch of wusses. my parents tried to do something about it, but when they told the teachers they just played it off as 'kids being kids'. these were the same people who abused me, btw. friggin amazing.

still, if there's one thing i loved about the school, it was a few of the teachers that loved me and the chicken quesadillas they served during lunch. those were the friggin' best !!!

I find it no big deal, but it's concerning that two fire engines and a ?500 fine have to come along every time it happens.

In England they don't come, but get prepared in case it's real. If it's not, you do end up getting a fine, so that's great.

My old high school used collective punishment for like all things. Like if someone smoked during PE no one could attend the inside running test and we all had to do the usual running around the lake crap(yes true story, ask if you want know more lol).

Oh, Lord. Where do I begin?

I'll start off with a disclaimer. I have A LOT of wonderful memories just by going to school. I have meet some awesome people at school. Although this is going to be the longest rant I have ever had (more or less), I still have my good times at school. I do not attend to offend anyone with this rant. Keep in mind that I have been going to school for 15 years (since I was 3) and I am senior in high school eager to graduate!

On with my rant. The dress code, petty rules, school system, etc. really ticks me off! My school's dress started to go overboard when I started the fifth grade. I had a difficult time with it, actually. Most of the time, I wore pants and shorts. I barely got to wear a skirt or a dress, so it caused me to have a hard time with the dress code. We had to tuck in our shirts! It was difficult with jeans (which I hate wearing) for me! And starting the last six weeks of fifth grade, we had to start wearing belts! I can't do belts, so od course, I got in trouble!
Now I dresses and skirts, as the are easy to find, and I feel great!

We've had so many stupid "rules". We couldn't open are locker, in junior high, until the bell rang, which was the stupidest rule I ever had to put up with. And we had other stupid rules that aren't even worth getting into, they are so stupid!

AND TEACHERS GET MAD AT EVERYTHING!

Okay, that wasn't as long as I attend it to be, but you guys get the point!

It's called being considerate

Cleaners are people too. At least make their lives a little easier, their job is already hard enough.

The year I was leaving middle school one of my teachers pulled me aside and told me that writing on myself was going to be banned and I would be punished. I told her I didn't care because I was leaving, lol. Plus, I drew a fish on my hand. What's the problem?

My university is so money hungry, they accept way more people than they have room for. And it's usually all the freshman. They had to put freshmen in hotels because they ran out of room in the dorms and they started paying upperclassmen to move out of the dorms. They're in a huge "housing crisis" but you can bet your a** they're still accepting whoever applies.

It doesn't really affect me right now, but in August I'll be working in the dorms and I can only imagine all the problems that's going to cause when I start working.
