Annoying rocks, what would you do?

I was extremely lucky with my rocks, they're all out of the way xD

I have this one rock right at the side of my home that I didn't notice until I started using paths...I just put bushes around the rocks to make it look neat.

How? You can only plant bushes two spaces away form it! So is there just like a gigantic square right behind your house?
