Annoyed villagers.

Ok so here's what happened, I walked into Bruce's house for a visit, and cookie was there, so I kept talking to them and so I guess there's a limit of how much you can talk to a character? XD they respond differently by their personality types, but Bruce was always like "hey whaddaya want?" So he seemed kind of the irritated type, and cookie (the pink dog) was always positive saying things like "oh I'm so lucky you're so chatty today!" Anyways, Bruce ended up saying something like "hey I know you want to chat and all but I need some space" and cookie was like "oh I just forgot something, I'm sorry I need to re-remember what I was trying to remember" then they both got those thought bubbles above their heads and they walk around with their hand on their face pondering, it makes a noise but I hope this doesn't effect our friendships or anything- but it's kinda funny, they didn't talk to me for like 10 minutes lol.

I guess I talk to much.

I don't think the thought bubbles affect friendship levels unless anyone wants to correct me about that.

I've never had that happen to me! Guess because when there's two villagers in one house, I only talk to both of them like two or three times. Even though that's never happened to me, like everyone said, I'm pretty sure that doesn't affect your friendship level at all c:

It shouldn't affect your friendship with them, thankfully! I used to talk to Mira 500 times a day until she finally bought my red zap suit off of me. And nothing about our friendship was affected in the process.

I think they do that when you've talked to them 10 times in a row. At least that's what I've heard, and I tried it out on Purrl, and she did that after the 10th time. I don't think it makes them angry. It's just their way of telling you to leave them alone, because they're trying to think about something.

I often do this on purpose, some villagers say interesting things when they go into that 'thinking' mode. If you talk to a smug they sometimes list three female villagers and then offer some friendly advice of "When you send a girl flowers, remember which one it was!" I found that if you only have two female villagers they list a guy instead, Julian listed Colton when I last tried this.
