Ankha changed her shirt to something hideous. Now I'm going to have to track down the mummy shirt and order them in bulk to send her until she gets the hint. Someone from Anytown is not as good of a designer as you think, girl.

You can always just order one at mail it to her before a mail round, then reset if she's not wearing it a few minutes later.

I usually just empty my inventory (except for the shirt I want to give them) and talk to the villagers until they ask me for the shirt. It's quick if you're friends with them. I reset if they just put it away without wearing it.

My Ankha was wearing the scale armor suit for a while and it looked decent on her.The gold armor suit also looks ok if you can't get your hands on another mummy shirt.

If you tell Isabelle you have a problem with a villager's catchphrase or clothes then that villager reverts back to original catchphrase or shirt

When a villager has on a shirt I don't like, the trick that works 9 out of 10 times (I learned by reading on TBT): you send 5 of the same shirt in a letter to the villager. Most of the time, they will be wearing the shirt you sent the next day or the day after.

The one downside is, you will sometimes see like 1 extra shirt in their house as furniture, but that's about it.

I also change everything at Able's to an umbrella so the villagers stop buying the stupid white shirt design.

I need to chamge everything at Able's but I havent created a second character yet and my mayor is full of paths. I guess it's time. I'll try your trick though!

When I want to change a villagers shirt, I fill my pockets up entirely with flowers/fruit, plus the shirt, save the game, and then talk to the villager until they offer to buy the shirt. If they don't change into it right away after they've bought it, I reset and try again. Usually it works the first time for me, I once changed 4 of my villagers shirts in 10 mins using that trick! Anyway you have a lot of suggestions to choose from already, lol. Good luck! ^_^

Don't do this! I tried this with Naomi and it put her in an ugly red gym t-shirt, it doesn't revert them to their original clothing, sadly. I've been trying for days to get her to change into anything else. -_-

No go, she stays in that gym shirt. :[ It doesn't do anything unless they're wearing a pattern.

If you don't mind it, replace all the clothing designs in the Ables Sisters store with umbrellas or dresses. It helps! They don't use umbrellas or dresses.

Whenever I see my villagers wearing some gaudy clothes o just look at them and think..okay first of all how dare you.

But anyhoo you basically Just order the shirt you want her to wear 5 times send them to her when they get in she is bound to wear one of them this is what I do when I want my villagers wearing certain clothes

I have Ankha in a blue jacket and she looks surprisingly good. Yes, it could be fun to experiment with clothes. I look up outfits and look at a picture of the villager and send them 5 of something that looks good. It is so rewarding to see them wearing it the next day. Good luck! Yeah, down with Anytown! Ugh...

Isabelle will ONLY make a male villager wear a blue gym shirt, and a female villager a red gym shirt.
That's it.
There's no randomness, and there's no reverting back to their original shirt.
