It wasn't meant in an offensive way, if there was an emoticon for a Z snap it justify it

Because I had three lazies already and he wasn't a dreamie of mine, 4 Million isn't that much considering people go well over 50 Million for him on occasions. Kinda wish I kept Stitches but he was a random move in

8.75 Million

This auction finished a long time ago... Muffin obviously won.

I'm not bidding anymore this is silly the auctions been over for over an hour. Even if it said roughly roughly doesn't mean an hour later. Going by the rules technically I won. So I'm going to let the auctioneer decide.

Thank you for the support God :) such friendly people on tbt. :)

Yes, let the auctioneer decide. My first bid was just twenty or so minutes after "two hours" and the original poster hasn't since been online. I've been searching for a long time for Ankha and if I come off as rude, sorry

I'll add 6m to muffin's 9m bid if the auctioneer is silly and decides to take bids after the auction has ended.

There should really be some kind of rule that states if you're having an auction, you have to state exactly what time you're ending it. Saying "roughly" doesn't make it fair for anyone, because no one knows who won.. Sorry, I hope I'm not barging in and bothering people in this thread, but when I see things like this it bugs me. I would be really burnt if there was no -exact- end time, I bid according to what I can figure out the seller is trying to say, and because the seller wasn't clear toward what he or she said I didn't end up winning.

Yeah and if you say roughly, be online within ten minutes of the given time. Regardless, I think RhinoK had every right to keep the auction going because it hadn't officially ended.

Awe thanks guys. :) such good support here. Also I hope she doesn't do that and goes for my original 7 million since the auction was roughly over. And I agree roughly is hard to tell when it is so hopefully she follows the rules and roughly ends at my 7 million. :)

Regardless, you've won. She could change the rules, anyone could still bid since, as TheEliteEmpoleon said, it hasn't "officially" ended and roughly can be interpreted as anything. Thanks TheEliteEmpoleon for putting some of my perspective into the situation

Don't mention it. All I did was speak the truth!

Definition of roughly. Nearly, close to, or approaching. So roughly 2 hours would mean nearly two hours, close to 2 hours or approaching 2 hours. Since my bid of 7 million was nearly close to and approaching 2 hours as the last bid in all fairness I've won with 7 million.

Well for most people, roughly means "give or take", not just the "take" part, so in all fairness the auction was still going.

Either way we outbid Rhino and he had an attitude that was off putting so however you put it Muffin one and this is done :)

I don't care who outbid who, or who won, not one. And the arrogance of you others was more off-putting than RhinoK's "attitiude". All I'm saying is that the auction was technically still going on. Now its over. :) :) :) :) :) the smilies make it less mean lol

"putting off"

I understand "OH NO YOU DON'" because this is the internet and anything I say can easily be interpreted as something else. My first bid was only twenty or so minutes after two hours of the first post. I could understand if the original poster had personal issues but couldn't he/she have specified an exact time? "Roughly" sounds informal and can be interpreted as anything. You may define it as a few minutes afterwards or half an hour, but the original poster didn't and so far hasn't come online and the rules weren't exactly specified.

Onto the "putting off", as I said, the "OH NO YOU DON'" can be interpreted differently, but someone who didn't even know me assumed I was only buying her to sell her for profit, albeit her being my dreamie for years.

Please tell me how we were arrogant I agree the auction was not neccesarily over but in all honesty it should have been and I believe morals are what is important and Rhino come in all Oh No you didn't when the auction seemed over was rude he should have said you know Muffin is right according to what the owner said the auction is over I will back out, which is why most people were on muffins side (except you) because if you look at Muffin deserved to win, anyways I do not have to time to listen to ARROGANT people like you so I shall take my leave

First you ask me to explain myself, then you say you're leaving... Ok whatever. Guess Rhino and I were the true winners here today.

OK you're making it out a bigger deal than it is. TheEliteEmpoleon was only defending me and I admit I was wrong, but to say I'm rude and be so biased is wrong. Agreed it had been two hours but 1. The Auctioneer hadn't been on yet. 2. "Roughly" again, can be interpreted as anything. Maybe it's a few minutes or maybe it's an hour, I searched online and maybe it was because I quickly scanned, but I didn't find a definition for 'roughly' in this context, if anyone could provide one w. source then I'll admit I was wrong but you're being rude to TheEliteEmpoleon simply for defending me. I auctioned when I thought it was ongoing and muffin tried to brush me away in quite a rude way (don't tell me it wasn't rude because I can argue my auction is allowed, because it is down to interpretation.) You were quite arrogant, not listening to me and muffin had the nerve to say I was only buying her for profit. That's rude and arrogant; this was the first time we met and to accuse me of that, regardless of whether I was or not, is rude. Ankha is in fact one of my dreamies and I've been wanting her since before City Folk.
More importantly, how is he "arrogant"? He's listening to reason and isn't being biased like you. I can admit I was wrong but so was muffin, and your constant arrogance for him to outbid me does make you arrogant.
I've said I'm sorry and I didn't realize bidding could cause so much drama. I'm so sorry superior, non-arrogant oh-so-kind citizens.
