If you're trying to move someone out, the best thing is to save before talking to them, so that you can power-off should they decide to stay.

May I ask why you're getting rid of Ankha? :O

If you have saved recently, you can reset (thank god for no resetti unless you build the reset center) and make her ping again. Thats what I did when Octavian did that, and he left the second time.
