now that the snow is melted and it feels very spring-like i kinda want to give my house a complete makeover. i changed my entire house to a log cabin in the fall but now i feel like it should reflect the warmer season coming up. what do you do when the seasons start to change, do you clean up your home just a little bit or completely redecorate it?

I usally just clean out my storage.

i usually change a few things in my home every season and then update my dream address. i put away the christmas trees i had out for the winter yesterday because the green grass came out! i only completely redecorate when i feel like my overall style and tastes have changed.

i clean out all my storage :) i don't really redecorate bc that's something i do year round anyway :')

I've been trying to clear out my storage so I have more room to hoard landscaping items/fruit, but it's hard to make myself get rid of certain things, especially unorderables and such bc I can't easily get them back and what if I need them at some point?

So basically my spring cleaning in AC is going the same as my IRL spring cleaning:p

I change my winter paths to spring paths and remove all the blue flowers. Switch some flowers to Spring colours. Like, purple/pink. Lots of pink!
WELL, i used too. I haven't been playing ACNL 'normally' for a around a year now.

My house pretty much stays the same, but I get Cyrus to redo the rococo furniture in my main room, change out the fruit baskets in the kitchen, and swap out the wallpaper and flooring in the main and kitchen. I also swap out the clothing in my wardrobe (putting it away in the secret storage) for the new season, as well as the QR code outfits.

My other rooms stay the same, since I can't be bothered to redo the entire house and I really like the way the office, library, bath, and my bedroom look.

Outside, I start wearing down my natural paths again, since the snow caused the grass to grow back.

I just started a huge spring cleaning. I have a really bad habit of holding onto things I think I may use or just like. If it's sitting in my inventory space for more than two months being unused, I get rid of it. I have a hard time remembering that most orderable things can be reordered, so I'll hold onto things without having a serious need for them. Then every few months I get fed up of having an inventory that looks like crap and I go on a cleaning spree.

I recently went through and got rid of most of the reorderable items, too. I still had tons of others and spent a long time transferring them to the post office save slots. Helped a lot, but I still have tons of items in my house storage!

I?m also a bit of a hoarder and I find it hard to throw sentimental items or items I think I might use
I?m planning to clean out some space but I?m dreading running back and forth to retail!

I cleaned out my (in-house) storage, and moved a heap of thing's to the museum storage instead.

I sold a lot of items that were reorderable that were just taking up space. ^_^

I just added some new items to the mayor house and happy with her house.
During the fishing tournament her closet and secret storage were cleared of a lot of items/clothing. I have a garbage can in the basement and just tossed things away.

I still need to clean and remodel the 2nd/3rd players house, closets and their saved mail. Right now I'm not sure how I want to decorate their house. Most of the stuff I want gone from their houses.
Some of the items will be going to my daughter town that she just started.
