Animal Crossing Rehab

All my friends keep telling me that I need to go to rehab for playing acnl too often. Does anyone else have this problem? I feel like people feel this way, because they don't have acnl themselves, and they can't understand why I play it so much.

I'm going through the heavy addiction phase of this game too. Usually I play World of Warcraft but I haven't even been logging in because I'm trying to juggle 2 towns at once. I think I need to sign up for ACNL rehab too lol.

I tried two towns at once before, but ended up giving one of the game cards to a classmate who had a 3ds. It was too difficult for me personally haha. And I also have set aside some mmo's for acnl haha xD.

Nobody points out my ACNL addiction, but I don't necessarily have one anymore saying as I can abandon the game for a whole day or two now. (But that's only because I'm busier xP) But I guess it's only because the people I talk to have their own game addictions, so we're too busy arguing over who's game is better

I have played ac almost every day since the first one came out and I could care less what anyone says. We all have our ways of relaxing and this is mine

I used to play more than 10 hours a day, that's kinda crazy. My siblings joked about me being obsessed. So I stopped for like 4 months, I didn't play it anymore. Yesterday, I grabbed ACNL again, and now I'm enjoying it again. But if you think you play too much, take a little break. Or try to play 1 hour a day. If you think you don't play too much, then keep playing! If it makes you happy, why would you stop?

Do you think it's a problem? If you do then you should address it. If you only think it's a problem because other people are commenting on it then you have to deal with that. We don't have to please other people, we have to please ourselves.

I play at least a few hours a day. I'll play and then put it down and then pick it up later and fish for a while and then put it down again. It's the way I relax and chill out.

I would have told him that I'll stop playing the game when he stops watching TV. You have a right to enjoy yourself after you've worked all day.

ahhaah that really depends.

If you play a lot because you have the time to do so then thats fine. However, if you are choosing to play acnl over doing what needs to be done or necessary for a healthy life (work, study, do homework, chore, eat, declining social outings/invitation, going to gym, etc) then you do.

When my bf moved back home I decided to get my own copy of acnl and 3DS. He introduced me to acnl and let me use his ds because I never had one. I was really close to completing everything so I didnt sleep much for 2 weeks straight because I was transferring literally everything in my town old town (including dreamies) and re cataloging everything to my new one while I was villager plot setting, laying down paths, placing pwps, upgrading houses/museum/shops, catching bugs/sea creature/fish where I wanted.

After that phase, there was no reason to play hours and hours. I just have 2 pwps left, 5 more things to catch in the game, get the last remaining few badges in order to have everything completed. After I do this, I only will log on everyday to prevent my dreamies from moving, visit dream addresses (thats my favorite thing to do), and occasionally do giveaways.

When I first saw my brother playing acnl I thought the game was the dumbest thing ever. Then I got it and I was hooked. I played whenever I could and my brother tried to pry me off. I stopped playing during the summer and around august I started playing again. Now I'm hooked as ever and u can't get away from it!
