Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the Wii U?

Hi everyone! I'm Christina, and I was wondering if anyone knew about New Leaf possibly coming out for the Wii U? I'm planning on getting a Wii U soon, and I'm really hoping to be able to get New Leaf for it when I do. Thank you to anyone who provides any details.

I'm sure there will be a Wii u animal crossing game eventually, since New Leaf did so well. I'm not sure it would be 'new leaf' though, they might make it slightly different and call it something else. (Like city folk)

Probably not New Leaf, but probably an Animal Crossing game.

They've never made one AC game on two or more systems at a time, so probably in the future, yeah. But AC games take a long time to plan and develop so probably not for a couple years.

Yeah, there will definitely be an Animal Crossing for the Wii U (as nintendo has released an AC for every console since Gamecube) but for it's title I'm not so sure. Animal Crossing: Busy Life sounds like a cool one to me!! It was a fake rumored title though.

This all sounds great, except for the popular belief that an Animal Crossing game won't be released for quite a while. But at least there seems to be a high chance that there will be one at some point. Thank you everyone for your input! <3

There was a three-year wait between WW and CF being released in Japan, so it could be some time.

No and yes. WW and CF were released around the same dates in both the US and Japan. Those dates being late 2005 and late 2008, respectively.

I'm pretty sure they will eventually, but not for years. They'll probably create placeholder dates too, like they did for New Leaf, which was really beginning to kill me. D: I probably won't get it myself, though; New Leaf will keep me busy enough, and I'm not the biggest fan of anything that isn't portable.

True. I never liked sitting down for hours and playing, I prefer portable. Hopefully it won't be like it was with CF and WW, when CF didn't improve much from WW.

Also. But it's more to do with the fact I didn't like CF (I hated the Wii remote) and I'm not planning to buy a Wii U.

I mean, even though CF was what got me into this series in the first place, it wasn't all that great. It took 200 people to convince me to get it. (Live stream, ACNL gameplay, loved it, got it)

You could have your inventory on the Gamepad at all times along with a map.

Yeah, I remember City Folk being nothing like what I thought it was going to be like... it was kind of a bummer for me... but lately I've been watching New Leaf game-plays on Youtube, and I think I would love to play it! But I don't think that would be possible unless my brother got the game and allowed me to play his 3DS.

we maybe get a game of the end of 2014 for Wii U - because there ends the Wii u Animal Crossing Plaza service, i guess when the game start to release they plan a new alternativ than the plaza thing. But its just a guess - but i would say it cant be way longer, because Wii U needs to get pushed by good games!

Get your own 3DS. I went from the old DS Lite to a 3DS. It's worth it - trust me.

That would be too soon. At the end of 2015 or 2016 and then it's fine..
