There is a Animal Crossing Animated Movie that is actually great
Dōbutsu no Mori is the name and you can find it on the internet very quickly.

Here you can see a little of information about it, i'm in love with the characters and Margie is awesome, Apollo is very cool and now i'm very happy because he is living in my town. Anyway, very cool characters and the K.K. Bossa, oh my gosh what a blast!

Haven't seen the film in about....6 years? But I liked it when I was younger! I really should give it a rewatch sometime, it's pretty nostalgic to me lol.

I love that movie! It's one of the few game based films that got it right. I remember numerous fandubs popping up in 2008-2009 since it was never translated into English officially. I imported the DVD from Japan years ago with this art book and a DS carrying case. I still watch it occasionally. Rosie is my favourite character.

Nintendo should integrate more elements from the movie into NH, such as exploring caves.

I always loved the Animal Crossing movie as it is beautifully animated and so playful! I couldn't really find any general discussions on the movie either so I think it would be fun to see what other fans think of it today.

You can tell how Wild World heavily inspired it as I believe it was promotion for the game.

I also recently saw that I still have the English Fandub saved on my computer so if anyone wants to watch the full version (I believe it was taken down everywhere else) message me and I'll send it over!

OH Ill take it! A rare video. We must find a way to share it once again

I would love to see that, as I loved the sub very much as a kid and even now as an adult. If you could send me that too, that would be incredible.

It's a lovely film! I like it :) I think it's based more on WW than the GCN Animal Crossing game (since there's the taxi at the beginning with Kapp'n, instead of the train station).
