The Smash update shows the fighting alloy team, and one reminds me slightly of the horned guy on AC GCN. Seeing as Nintendo is paying more attention to the franchise, maybe there is one character based on the concept of a general AC guy, with a girl clone even.

I really wouldn't mind an Animal Crossing character in Brawl, an I do see the resemblance.
