I've let my Animal Crossing town rot for a few days every now and then but I always come crawling back to my angry needy villagers. There really isn't much to "accomplish" in my town anymore. I'm happy with my catalog, villagers, layout, badges, museum, etc. but I still feel the need to go around my town and do daily chores. Is anyone else up-keeping their town/making sure their dreamies don't move out, but not really playing beyond that? Just more so on obligation or habit?

I started thinking about it after I read the very lovely comic by superlark.

After a week of Pokemon, I went back to my town, even if it had nothing spectacularly new for me.

Yeah... I've got some other games now, but I'm still at least checking ACNL every day. It's my first Animal Crossing game anyway, and I do feel obliged to keep up the town - after all I'm the mayor! My town's still a long way from "finished" though. I'm a slow player, none of those time traveling shenanigans for me.

Love the comic.

Im playing Pokemon too, and my pokedex left a few more and im done, till the next release of 300 Pokemons. >.<

In the meantime I still visit ac everyday doing dailies. Left one more goal and that is Katrina to open her shop.
And experience the rest of the events ....
