Personally, I wish villagers would actually lay on their back and stamp their feet out of frustration when you shoot down their most unreasonable requests. And for the rest of the day glare at you, or give the 'surprise' emoticon before hurrying away from you, every time you get close.

Tammy asks me to deliver something to Jacques because she forgot to give it to him.
I can't find Jacques anywhere in town so I go complete a trade.
I get back, wander around looking for Jacques, check all the shops. I love Tammy to bits and am like "NO I shall fulfill your request". Eventually I just go back to her place to say hi. Guess who's hanging out with her. Jacques.

I love that they're like best friends though. He's always over there (she's far too lazy to cross town to visit him by the beach)


Also. on a related note. 4-5 times a week Jacques, who is literally perched at the ramp down to the beach, will ask me for any ocean fish. 9/10 times he's already holding a damn rod. Like dude. I love you, but go catch your own fish. You are 30 steps from the ocean.

I always kinda feel sad when they ask for something like fruit for Toy Day. Because it's like. Is nobody feeding you do you want me to send you food here you can have all of them ; ;

Like. It's Toy Day. You're supposed to ask for something more...extravagant but then they're just like "I want food" and I assume they haven't been eating or something.

yup. i feel so awful when i can't finish requests that i would like to (nah to most of the bug/fish ones though). i've just opted to keep one of each fruit and some of the rarer fish in my storage just because.
