The idea of absolute freedom is great, but we do need certain laws so as to not create chaos.
In theory anarchy could work giving a long line of ifs that ultimately will never happen. There will always be people struggling to survive willing to resort to extremes to survive, there will always be insane people who see things no one else does which can be bad a or good thing depending on whether the craziness causes them to kill everyone or tolerate the world.
Honestly what we have going for us isn't that bad of a system compared to what things could be. This is a country not entirely ruled by majority stupidity, nor by a single tyrant, and despite the fact that there are controversies and certain people standing up for what I believe to be the wrong thing, in all honesty I have only seen things move towards what I believe to be a morally correct nation. Yes we have morons who might still think one race of humans is absolutely dominant in every way but most people don't in this nation now, yes there are douche bags calling for ridiculousness of every spectrum but it kinda balances itself out in the end, and overall through the generations gets a little bit better. I do like the idea of having perfect freedom, but the reason laws are there is to prohibit those douche bags on the extremes of issues from ever really destroying other peoples rights and lives.
Really there is peace in the world sometimes. Just sitting down and reading a book or playing a game can be extremely peaceful. To want peace all the time everywhere though is kinda unrealistic though. After all there will always be events that end up disastrous by no wrong of our own. But as we advance in the world we might reach a point where we can solve most problems, heck we could be able to solve all our problems in the distant future. But we need to work together on it and that is why we need a government, we need organization to get problems solved and sometimes a government is what can do that. It does need more that government though. Everyone can do things to help the world grow, even if you don't realize a place where you fit there is something you can do that can help someone, and well what goes around comes around. There are those in government for personal interest just as there are people in businesses for personal interest, but that is the wrong viewpoint. You need to view what you do in life from the how do I help perspective, even if it is just giving someone else a smile every now and again, it helps.
