An MP3

So Im saving up for a MP3 (so far $85) and Im deciding between a Zune or an iPod.
iPods are VERY common where Zunes aren't and iPods don't have as many functions as a Zune (radio, etc.) And a friend said if you strictly want music, go for a iPod.
So which does TBT prefer? Other, tell me what it is.

iPods are really reliable, the iTunes service is fantastic. Get an iPod.

Definitely the iPod. I have an 8gig iPod Nano (3rd Gen) and it rocks. 8gb doesn't sound like a lot, but it can still hold my 328 pics, 3 movies, a ton of videos, and a crap load of songs. iPods do have some extras, such as the calendar, alarm, clock, ect... I don't really know what Zunes are like, I've only played with them in the stores and with my friends'. If you get an older iPod, I believe there are ways you can hack it to have emulators and stuff like that.

I think those (v1) were released in '06 and the '07 (v2) are now 4GB, 8GB, and 80GB.

i got a sansa, does everything the ipod nano does, but runs 50-75 bucks cheaper. completely happy with my purchase.

I've got an 80 gig classic... I got it coated with scratchproofing the moment i bought it so it stays cute. : )

Zune's I don't know much about, but everyone I've known who has had one hasn't liked it...

My sis and I had to share one, but my sister got an iPod, and then she lost the sansa =/
Plus I lost my iPod shuffle... so I have nothing.

Haha, I could never use that. I've got about 4500 songs in my Library right now.
