An idea I think would be great for this game

The able to disassemble craftable items.

For example, a iron fence. If you have some iron fencing that you aren't using. How about being able to use the workbench to disassemble the unused iron fence to get the iron back to use for another project? Granted, material isn't hard to come by in this game but it can be tedious to collect.

I remember another game did this but I forgot which one. I think it was one of Harvest Moon games. That's what made me think of it.

Oh, I love this idea! I wasted so much material over the time for fences which I don't use anymore and now they are sitting in my storage, taking dust. Being able to disassemble them and getting back the material would be really useful and helpful.

I also thought this would be nice. Kinda like other games with crafting. You can disassemble them to get half of your crafting materials back or something. Hopefully they make crafting a little more efficient, I know this is their first time doing stuff like this

omg i have been thinking about this for a few weeks now. There are just tons of crafted materials that i dont even need in my storage ever since starting a new theme. If we're able ti dissemble them it'd save me the hassle to trade and spend nmts/tbt and also clear up storage at the same time. Take notes nintendo dammit

Wow, I'm glad a lot of people agree. I mean, there is so much they could add and I hope they add them. I just wish I remember what game I got this idea from. I know I remember seeing this in a game, I just forgot which one.

Like right now, in my inventory, I have a lot of Simple Wood fencing which I'm not really really a fan of. It would be nice if I could take the 30 plus i have (from Tom Nook) and break it down to get the softwood to put towards the imperial fence that I really DO like.

Great idea! I would love to see this implemented into the game. I have so many fences currently crafted that I no longer have the need for anymore. Also collecting acorns and pinecones is turning into a nightmare real quick so it would be nice to be able to disassemble the crafted items that uses those materials.
