So from what I understand, villagers obtained through an amiibo don't move out naturally unless you have the maximum amount of villagers in your town, right? Well, I was wondering to what extent that rule applies. See, my town is full, and I want one of my amiibo villagers to move out naturally (I don't like his house placement), but no matter how much time traveling I do he isn't pinging me? However, my non-amiibo villagers are pinging on repeat. So, my question is: Can amiibo villagers move out naturally if non-amiibo villagers are also in the town?

Another question as well: If there is no space in your town for a villager to move in (paths are everywhere), will the game delete paths to make room? Because I have this ONE spot I really want to move an amiibo villager in, yet reset after reset they haven't moved there. I have reset probably over 50 times at this point. They either don't move in at all, or they end up somewhere I could have sworn I put paths on. I know for sure that there is enough space where I want them to move in, so what gives?

Thanks for reading, I may just be really unlucky, but this is incredibly frustrating. :/

Amiibo villagers will ping you eventually , it just takes a very long time.

Regarding your 2nd question I don't know , tbh i was questioning myself this question this morning lol!

From what I understand villagers won't move in on paths unless there's no where to move in because of how the patterns are placed, I've heard people leaving the door space as well or leaving more than one 3x3 (plus door space) open for villagers just in case. Also, you can't have too many buildings clustered together so if your only open space is clustered with a bunch of other things they'll just move in on top of a pattern. Hope this helped!! :)

Thanks for the help! It may be the buildings clustered together, like there's enough space but maybe the game isn't happy about all of the other houses in the area. Messes with my plans a bit, though I'll try a different layout. :)

Once I hit eight Amiibo villagers in my cycling town, they started to ping to move like "natural" villagers.I'm not 100% sure that eight is the magic number but it's possible. The Amiibo villager that pinged had been in my town for only about a month or so.
