So I have a full island of 10 villagers and I’m looking to get rid of one of them (Tipper). I used an amiibo for Kabuki and invited him repeatedly to my campsite over the past 3 days, completed his crafting requests, and got the option to invite him to stay on my island. He talked to Resident Services and said that there weren’t any plots open and therefore he couldn’t stay. No option to negotiate with a villager on my island came up even though I initiated conversation with him various times afterwards. He keeps saying the same thing, that no plots are open and he couldn’t stay. I don’t know what to do next, do I invite him a fourth time tomorrow and hope the negotiation option comes up? Do I keep talking to him today?

Do you have 10 villagers as in 10 animal villagers? Or 9 animal villagers plus your character? I'm asking because some people happened to think they had 10 villagers but they counted themselves/ their character too, and it doesn't work like that. The 10 villagers are the 10 animal characters.

Then you don't have 10 villagers, ask Tom to sell some land and prepare it for your campsite visitor to live in ^^
