I watched the first 3 seasons. After the 2nd,.it just sucked so I stopped watching. I think they pick the worst judges too. Someone who manages crappy boy bands , a bass guitarist and an addict.

My sister got me to play it and gave me lessons. She needed a bassist for her band, but the vocalist ended up being a douche and giving me crap about how I was three years young. even though I was fully capable of playing all of their songs. So they kicked him out of the band.

If you're playing the same songs over and over, maybe. But bass guitar is a pretty cool instrument, and this is coming from someone who barely know how to play it.

Technically, this show is NOT a failure, seeing as it has really high ratings, and pulls in lots of money...Technically, American Idol=Major Success. Technically.

In terms of people here, maybe this show is stupid and a failure. I agree with you. In terms of show quality at least. In terms of success, AI is near the top.
