Am I the only one with nowhere to place the extra two bridges and inclines?

I'm another player who won't be using them, either. I have only 4 inclines and just added a 6th bridge the other day, so I don't need them. I still plan to buy the Pro Construction license (or whatever it's called) that adds the extra ones, just for completion's sake and on the chance it does something more.

I'm really looking forward to the ladders, though! I've wanted those since before the game came out when they first showed off the ladder and vaulting pole. It was so disappointing to learn we couldn't attach our ladders to cliff sides. Now we'll finally be able to!

I've been making some changes to my island in anticipation of the update and I think I might end up using all 10 inclines - I'm adding a lot more cliffs to my island, so more inclines will definitely be helpful :)

Whenever I design an island, I have trouble even fitting in a third bridge, let alone 10.

But the extra inclines? Can I have 20, Nintendo? Please? XD

I don't have anywhere to place them at the moment, but just the fact that they will be there to use is a huge relief. I'm even considering re-doing a lot of areas just to find ways to use them. Even if I don't use them for navigational purposes, I can finally consider doing things like "diving ramp" or "treehouse" - a small area that basically uses up one incline but pointless otherwise.

I've been wanting a couple more staircases so I'm pumped to get them, but I'm not sure about what'll do with the bridges...

I could have used the extra inclines. I never hit the full number of bridges to begin with though. I used bridges purely for practical reasons, while inclines are practical, sometimes it is nice to make them look like a presentable entrance to a cliffy area so having more than one in a section is preferred for myself. I think 10 is a nice number and I am happy they decided to extend the number.
But having 16 as a combined thing would have been sufficient from the start. You could have 10 inclines that way and just 2 or 3 bridges. But I suppose it may have had something to do with how it was coded.

Looking back I do kinda wish they put a cap of how many items/waterfalls could be displayed on the island because of the lag problem that got so bad at times-(especially visiting islands or... trading..)
But I kinda wonder if that was more of the fault of the console rather than the game?

I don't really have any need for extra bridges/inclines at the moment. My island has 7 inclines and 4 bridges, that's more than enough for me right now, lol. Still, it's nice to have extra inclines/bridges in case I ever retool my island in the future.

Let's see now. I have four bridges and five inclines. I think that's enough for my island.

I personally have no use at all for the extra inclines and bridges on either of my islands. My main island has 5 inclines and 3 bridges, and my secondary island has 3 inclines and 3 bridges. Both of them are surprisingly very accessible with just that. There are a couple of spots that might be able to use another incline, but the permanent ladders coming in the update will likely work better than inclines would in those spots anyway. Even if I did need inclines, I still have plenty left to work with in both of my towns. That all being said, it's still great that they are expanding the limits on both of them, I might yet find use for the extras in the event that I choose to do a major rework of either of my towns.

I built my whole town with the bridge and incline limit in mind so I have zero intention to add more of either.

I'm glad they are there just in case because I did use 8 inclines. I might need the two somewhere but I'm not absolute. I don't have many bridges though (only two and potentially a third). Options are nice and don't hurt.

I don't think of any place on my island for now where an additional bridge or incline are an absolute necessity but I think it's cool to have the possibility to add them in the future if I want (I'll probably add one stair for the museum...)

But honestly I more excited for the permanent placed ladders and climbing roots that take less space and seems to be super useful 🤩

Not going to have this problem, because my island is flattened and ready to go for this update.

But I also don't see myself using all 10 bridges and inclines. I find that to be overkill.

I haven't gotten anywhere close to the current limit, so I highly doubt that I'm going to make use of the two extra bridges and inclines. I know people who'll be very happy to have this option, but I don't even have the slightest idea where I could put more... 😅

I won’t be maxing out the bridges but the inclines, I might. In my old island, I had to forego grand plans bec of the incline limit so I’m actually happy that with the update we’ll have more to use. I recently restarted too so now I can fully use them to my heart’s content.

I already have 4 inclines, and 4 bridges. I don’t need more then that. I do plan on putting one permanent ladder at redd’s beach. I may put use vines as hidden ladders. Nice looking, but functionally at the same time.

I have two bridges and I don't think I'll make more, I don't have a lot of rivers and the third "bridge" is already an incline due to limited space.

I though I might need more inclines for the ruins/excavation area, but that's also smaller than intended due to space and the ladder kits are a fitting alternative.

I have five and five, and I'm actually going to demolish an incline, since vines or a ladder kit will work better for that area. Don't feel you *have* to use them. That's more stress than you need. :)

Pretty much me lol but I actually haven't used the current max amount so I'm just kinda vibin'. That said, I definitely know where I'm gonna place those ladders.

I need every incline I can get cause I've already used all mine and I keep having to destroy one when I wanna put up a new one somewhere else. Now for the bridges that's different cause I've only used half we're given but maybe I'll go build a bunch of bridges for the heck of it.
