...dramatically runs to the villager after hearing a rumor that they are moving? Lol

I realized I always do it, but I just noticed how dramatic the scene looks like, because today Punchy told me Keaton thought of moving and we happened to be talking near the bridge and it just looked so dramatic when I ran from there through the trees to the other side of town to get to Keaton 😩

No, you're not the only one. Usually, nothing happens for a while and, sometimes, I have to get an alt character to say NO!

I do that too! But at the same time, I avoid other villagers from seeing me because they could be the one who pings me instead of the one who's moving.

No, you’re definitely not alone. I’ve done this with a few of my absolute favorite villagers. I refuse to let them leave lol. And then when they tell me that they thought I wouldn’t care, I get so hurt

Nope, if I hear the rumor, I immediately start trolling that villager to get them to ping.

No, I always do the same. Sometimes I want them to go and sometimes I want them to stay but it's always an immediate action, tense moment.

I do that too with Nana. She’s the oldest villager to live in my town, is my best friend and she keeps telling me that she’s moving.

You're definitely not the only one. I talk to my villagers a lot to see if there are any moving rumours and sometimes they like to say silent, so sometimes I just assume nothing's going on. Later that day I'll get pinged by a villager I was talk to and they'll just be like, "SUP! I'M MOVING!"

When I first started I did that but got no ping. I now do the save/quit, start again and run to the villager house to get the ping. They are outside and it's works right away.
Along the way I hide from villagers as I go to the house.

If they are a dreamie, I talk to them until they are annoyed and I talk to them everyday. If it's not a dreamie, I will never speak to them again. I know that one of my villagers is moving because they told me and then decided to stay, so I turned off my game and they try to tell me but I won't talk to them. xD

i would talk to non-dreamies, if you want them to move out. They won't ping you if you haven't spoken with them in a certain amount of days. In my experience, it has made my dreamies want to move out more frequently rather than an unwanted villager.

I love knowing that I'm also not the only one that HIDES from a villager I don't want a ping from LMAO. Hearing stories from other players is the best
Like when I'm holding a specific item and I want a specific villager to buy it from me, I avoid walk far from everyone else because I did notice that when 2 animals are next to each other not both of them would ping you. So goes the same for move out pings.

I will usually just head over to them till they ping me, and if I like them I obviously tell them to stay

Oh, I do it as well. Especially if it's a villager I really love, or if it's a villager I want out of my town as soon as possible. C'mon Cole, leave already!

omg i play dramatic music in my head as i run towards the villager and come up with what i would say back LMAO
"genji... how could you?"
"i've decided to-"
"no genji, you have to stay. think of the mayor. me. i would cry gross, ugly tears."

i also imagine myself running with the wind blowing my hair into my face and knocking people out of the way to get to the villager too oops
like in airport scenes where they go to confess their love only i'm guilt tripping them to stay in my town (':
