Am I the only one who...?

~I don't understand why everyone hates peewee
~I don't get why people go crazy about having the "perfect town" and reset for weeks... like thats crazy
(yes I map reset only once after not having any space in my old town but pick a new map on my first reset and it wasn't perfect but I love it and it has some charm)
~I plot reset but I can do it for hours like others
~ I wish if we were close enough to a villager we could give a pic of ourselves! I think thats a cute idea and love to see a pic of me in my animal friends home <3
~ I like marshal
~ I have diana, I think she's pretty but I don't think I love her as much as I thought I would... idk still trying to figure it out
~ I hate the fact that I can't put a bush right next to a building, that there has to be one space around it...

I wish more focus was put on the single player aspects of the game and less on the online community aspect. I would rather talk to the animals than real people lol.

I don't think you're forced to use the online community in the game, though. You can easily use your own methods to get the villagers you like or wait for them to show up, you don't have to use Club Tortimer to go on the island, you can probably play the game relying mainly on the items and stuff you get by yourself. I see the online community as a bonus though, since sometimes it just makes life easier.

I don't like the idea of keeping villagers permanently. Nor do I like seeing the same villagers in every other dream town.
I tried plot resetting for a while, but decided that I don't like doing that.
I love getting random moveins from street pass.

I don't like time traveling; it kinda ruins the fun of building up your town. The more things are delayed, the longer you're gonna work on your town, am I right? It works pretty well that way.

I don't like how you can get your villager's picture more than once. I prefer Wild World's method of looking at it: the picture is a special, special gift from your villager that shows your maximum friendship with him/her. If you happen to sell it or lose it somehow, that's your fault and you aren't gonna get another one. To the villager, it shows your reliability and whether you're a genuine, honest person, and truly like your villager. And when your villager moves away, you'll always have that one special picture to remember them by.

I don't like the idea of keeping your villagers with their "original furniture," "initial clothing," or conforming them in any way. They're your **** villagers, let them do what they want. You're not a dictator, you're a mayor. Act like one.

Finally, I actually like Resetti. He's a busy old guy and he's actually nice to know if you don't screw him over. Just like any other reasonable person. He's also got pretty good points about life. He understands your reasoning alongside his. And geez, give him a break. Every time someone resets, he's gotta stop whatever he's doing and go fix it for them. And that's a lot of resets, a lot of digging, and a lot of stress. He's been holding the same job throughout the series, and now in this game, whether to give him even a job in this town is up to you. In other words, you get to decide whether he can get money to feed his family or not. It's kinda heart-wrenching put into that perspective. Respect the mole, guys.

I prefer smaller houses. Out of my five characters, only one has a fully expanded house.

I don't like full, matching sets of furniture. A few matching pieces, sure, but every.single.piece. in one room, no.

I want my towns to feel organic and rural.

I did reset several times to get peaches in my second town. I just really, really wanted peaches. I like the color and shape of both regular peaches and perfect peaches. When I finally saw what a perfect peach looked like I was like "That's it? That is what so many people hate?" I didn't mind them at all. Shrugs.

I like random house placement.

I like getting new random villagers from wherever.

I like it when they talk about their old town or sing the town tune from their old town.

Hmmm... I think filbert is the greatest villager to ever grace AC!!!

I don't like most of the dlc's.

I also don't like any of the horses. I think their shape just creeps me out.
OMG I love Filbert ;w; he's sooo adorable <3 and lol I hate horses too xD especially Julian, he totally creeps me out o.o I was SO shocked when I found out that he was so popular when I first joined TBT haha^^

Another one of mine: I like it when villagers have bugs and fish in their homes. It looks weird when it gets cluttered (and fossils tend to look bad because they're always placed awkwardly) but when they have a tank with a bug in it, I find it sort of cute, like they have pets.

That sounds like a weirdly intense way to put it. Being in control over fictional characters who are a bunch of pixels with very limited, pre-programmed dialogue is hardly being a dictator. I'm not into heavily-themed towns, but lots of people have themed towns where the decoration of each house is essential to their theme so I can understand why they do that. I personally don't keep my villagers' furniture original but I like to rearrange their houses to my liking so I give them furniture that would look nice in their houses. If you think that sending gifts in the mail to a bunch of cartoon animals makes someone a dictator, maybe you need a reality check.

Plus, I doubt their "feelings" are hurt by the fact that my Re-Tail is all fruit priced at 999,999.

I'm the same about furniture, I like to mix sets. I think that otherwise it gets a bit repetitive and unoriginal. I also like smaller houses, though I've been thinking of upgrading mine since I want more rooms to decorate and store stuff in.

I don't see what's so creepy about Katt, she isn't that bad!
I don't like towns where people plot reset every villager house, it just looks almost too perfect and bugs me. Like, it doesn't look natural. No offense to those of you who do that!
The dialogue is too repetitive.
WHEN TIMMY AND TOMMY KEEP ASKING YOU IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE THE WRAPPING PAPER EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. YOU. BUY. IT. IT'S SO ANNOYING SERIOUSLY YOU ASKED US ONCE I'M PRETTY SURE WE DON'T NEED TO REMEMBER EVERY TIME WE WANT TO WRAP A PRESENT FOR OUR FRIENDS okay I'm done

THIS EXPLAINS IT ALL FOR ME RIGHT HERE. NO POST I'VE EVER SEEN HAS RELATED TO ME LIKE THIS ONE. uvu *high fives*
Anyway, about the cutesy pink stuff, I've always liked it. Not like, pink house, pink path, pink villagers, I just like some things like that. Then I realized everyone on Tumblr was doing it, but oh well. It's my town and I don't care if everyone's doing it or if no one is, that's not going to stop me from doing what I think is the best image for my town. ♥
And I love Rocket, she's probably my second or third favorite uchi. I used to want her in my town so bad until I found out about the other uchi villagers. I don't see why people dislike her, she's actually pretty cute, like really, a superwoman gorilla? I think that's kinda cute. ^^
Oh, and another thing I dislike...when people sell every single villager they have for 1 million Bells and up (well, something like that). Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say that you shouldn't do that. I've done bidding myself before, and a lot of people like the extra cash, but people that do it all the time? I just find it unfair, especially for popular villagers like Merengue or Stitches, because everyone wants that villager, but the person only accepts people with Bells. It wouldn't matter if Stitches was your last dream villager, if someone offered him 20 million Bells, that person selling him might not even care if he's the last Stitches on the planet! And there's no one in particular I'm talking about either, and it's not like I've seen that before, but you know...close enough sometimes. I guess what I really want to say is that I honestly LOVE the people that do giveaways so much because they could be getting 70 mil Bells for that popular villager, but instead they're giving everyone a fair chance and awhhh it's just soo sweettt ^u^ ♥
Sorry for the super long post by the way, I just realized that I've been waiting all year for a thread like this. ♥

Ugh, yes. That and pretty much anything in the store like musical cards. I also hate their repetitive dialogue whenever you decline their offer or buy something. I think that's a problem with the shops in general and also with Blathers! After you've had to talk to them a million times, you pretty much just know the text by heart.

I also hate how shopkeepers will always follow you around, even when it's a small shop.

Actually I do like the online community aspect. It just seems like there were more things to do alone in thd GC game. It seems like with the addition of online and multiplayer to many games, the single player mode gets slimmed down.

Letting clovers grow wherever they spawn

Preserving the gem rock when it spawns in a strange location and not breaking it for a couple months

I totally agree with this. I don't like how NL relegates villager pics to the status of scrap items worth 10 Bells each. They are no longer precious, you don't have the space to display and store all of them, and it feels bad to sell them or throw them away.

I run everywhere. I don't care about the grass. I just can't stand walking so slowly from place to place when I could be zipping all over the place in half the time. It's not like my town is covered in dirt. I just make sure to run along the cliff in the bottom half of my town and voila, natural path! So I have a few dirt patches in random spots and all around buildings and rocks. Who cares? Not me. In fact, I kind of like the dirt around rocks. I have a terrible visual memory and mostly know the gem rock because it is the one surrounded by lush green grass.

I also cheerfully let my villagers buy and wear whatever they like. I kind of enjoy seeing what sort of a horrible mess they can make of their house. I'm also enjoying playing: "How many shirts do I have to send Merry before she'll stop throwing away furniture to display them and start wearing them?"

I wish we could display the villager pictures on the wall. I hate that we either have to have tables everywhere or just not display them. It sucks.

This is my first animal crossing so I can't compare it to the others but I hate when they all get on a kick to swap clothing with each other. One time it got so bad almost all of my villagers all had the same ugly shirt on. lol That white button down one in the store. lol

I hate that you can't put bushes near pwps, cliffs, houses, etc. I have lost so many bush starts. Grrrrr.....

Haha yes, I've memorized what Blathers says when you donate things!
I also wish that Pelly would ask you if you wanted to do anything else at the post office. Like, I'll mail a letter but then I want to save one, but I have to go back and talk to her again (like the Porter thing in an earlier post). :c

Yeah I agree with those too! Katt is a cutie.
I think plot resetting is ridiculous - I prefer to just go with the flow of the game.

... I. Hate. Coco. >_> Why does everyone like her? She's so off-putting, it's not even funny. Not even creepy cute. She's just like a hollow shell that like... I just want to fill with water, and see if her organs float out. And if they did. Omg... >m<
