Am I the only one who...?

I cannot tell the difference between Timmy and Tommy, and I couldn't care less about which one is which.

A lot of the design choices in this game baffle me. I am still kind of bitter that I had to add an extra character to my town to hold patterns so I could actually use them. The lack of a better way to manage your inventory annoys me as well.

As for villagers, I don't care for Marshal and Julian. I honestly think those two are hideous. :'| And I love the gorillas (especially Rocket and Boone) when everyone else seems to hate them.

The term dreamie is still weird to me. I don't like how it sounds. I haven't heard that term until I joined TBT, lol.

Same. I can never tell which one is which but I don't really care.

I agree with a lot of these (and also that post on the first page about lots of the game's mechanics not being very good). I wish you could have more inventory space (or upgrade it or something) and to be able to hold more patterns on you. I don't mind using a side character to do it since I enjoy playing with my side characters and decorating their homes but it would be so much easier if I didn't constantly have to save and quit every time I want to use a pattern that is on another character.

I don't care for Marshal and Julian either. Marshal is really boring to me, I can see why people like Julian but he's not a villager I really love or anything. By this point, though, I'm not sure if that's an unpopular opinion since I've seen so many threads with people saying that and I've only recently joined.

Im just not picky about maps or having the most money ever .. I just like playing normal.

I like random house placement too.
Isabelle is just "meh" to me. I was really surprised with all the hype about her.
I'm not a fan of Merengue. I think her horn looks like a carrot not a strawberry. Plus her cake/rhino head is awkwardly shaped.
I don't want a full rotating camera outside.
I completely ignore the whole turnip aspect of the game.
I like that you don't get everything handed to you right away and don't have complete control over everything.
I don't like how they changed the cat design in New Leaf.
I wish more focus was put on the single player aspects of the game and less on the online community aspect. I would rather talk to the animals than real people lol.
I wish villagers house interiors were set like in the GC game.
I don't mind the word "dreamie". (Seems to be an unpopular opinion on this thread lol).
I don't care at all about having tons of bells.
I like DJKK's songs but I don't like him. I wish he was a different character. Kind of cheapens KK Slider to me.
I like Cole.

Well, so here's mine...

I also kinda like random house placements. Too lazy to plot reset and it's a bit of a challenge if you have to build your paths AROUND them. Also, I kinda feel like a douche if I force them into a certain spot when I already force them to stay in my town 8D

There is absolutely no villager I hate, I like them all. So even if someone who I won't keep forever appears, I won't be mad. I'll treat him/her just as nice as the other ones!

Unpopular in this thread:
I like the pink stuff, but not because of tumblr... and not ALL pink, that's too much for me.
I'm one of those who keep their favorite villagers forever. But maybe I can explain why.
Maybe that sounds stupid, but some people are afraid of change, even if it's only a little bitof it. And I'm a control freak, so I'm glad that is something I can control, lol.
And I don't even get bored after a while. I had the same villagers in my Wild World Town for over a year and I never got bored...

I like a lot of the 4/5 tier villagers.
I don't like Merengue. I had her, didn't know she was popular, and voided. She's really nothing special... is it just her design?
I like Fauna, Diana, and Erik, but no other deers. Beau scares me.
I like Fang and Kyle, but no other wolves.
Mira, Diva and Deirdre scare the living hecky out of me.
Villagers with stories behind them really intrigue me to get them more. Ex. Benjamin
I don't like towns with tons of different paths literally everywhere. Makes me feel constricted.
I hate when paths overlap ponds, cliffs, rivers, etc. I see a lot of people who do this. ;-; eugh
Kiki and Cole nononononononononno

Ooh, unpopular views? Fun :3

I think it's silly that people want to hold onto the same villagers forever. I understand that you like them and want to keep them around... but don't you want to eventually see new faces? You're just setting yourself up for disappointment when one of them moves out unexpectedly. You have to be able to allow new faces into your town and learn to love different villagers, not just the same ten for the rest of forever and ever. >.<

Yeah, I think that too. I have no sympathy for people when they're moaning about a villager leaving their town haha

I actually like Klaus
I don't really care who lives in my town. As long as I have one of each of the 8 personalities that's good enough for me.
I don't want paths/highly manicured look in my town. I made the entire north half of my town into the thickest cedar forest possible w/ no villagers living there (just a few PWPs and a secluded log cabin) and I like it that way even though most would say it's terrible.

Yeah, I think that too. I have no sympathy for people when they're moaning about a villager leaving their town haha

Me too.. I just say "oh, that's rough" or "aww, I'm sorry".

Also, I love Snake. I love how he is based on Snake in Metal Gear Solid.

I hate julian (and ponies in general, but if i described my hatred here i would be banned faster than you can say cupcake)
marshal is generic but not worst smug ever
different species should not be allowed to sexually interact (although i have no problem with same gender)
no arglye socks (theres argyle tights but no socks i mean like wtf)

I think plot resetting or resetting to get a different camper is cheating. I have only reset ONCE and that was day 1 when I found that my second town had the same fruit as my first town.
I don't care if people have "dreamies", but I don't have any (all are welcome in my towns). But I don't like the idea of buying/selling villagers. I know they are only pixels in a game, but you come to think of them as real and so it just doesn't seem right.
I don't like when a villager puts their house someplace I don't like, but I work with it until they move out at some point.

Isabelle is the worst new character created in New Leaf.

Rocket is the best Uchi of all.

Julian is one of the worst Smugs.

Diana is the worst deer.

Hmmm... I think filbert is the greatest villager to ever grace AC!!!

I don't like most of the dlc's.

I also don't like any of the horses. I think their shape just creeps me out.
