Am I the only one who prefers the NH wet suits over NL?

I know a lot of people are unsatisfied with the wet suits of NH but tbh I like NH's better. I hated all the ones of nl aside from the pink one and black one most of the nl ones just didn't have appealing designs for me. I collected them all just because but I just didn't care for them. However the NH ones have a more appealing aesthetic for me especially the leaf wet suits. Maybe it's just me being weird. Seriously that green wet suit of nl was hideous and the orange one was weird too. The stripped one gives me way more Where's Waldo vibes than it should. Now granted the stripped one of nh has where's Waldo vibes but not nearly as much as the stripped one of NL. Aaaah.

I like aspects of both! I loved the bright colors contrasted with black in NL and really wish we would get those back (especially for winter, when it'll be cold and our character will need long sleeves and legs), but I also really like the option to have sleeveless wetsuits and ones with shorts for summer like in NH. Plus, I think the leaf pattern ones are gorgeous.

What I really want are wetsuits that are like the Nook Miles/NL ones with black and long sleeves/legs, but instead of bright solid colors, I would also like to have the leaf print contrasted with the black.

Hopefully over time they'll add more wetsuit designs or let us design our own.

I don't remember what the ACNL ones looked like, and in ACNH I just bought the first one I saw and have stuck with that. They exist more to serve a function rather than to look pretty so it doesn't really matter to me what they look like.

i don't remember what nl wetsuits look like either, i had to google it. i think i like the new ones too. the leaf patterns are also cool. wasn't aware that people are hating it, but i won't be shocked if they do as i read plenty of complaints already regarding the latest updates whether it cannot be a wand outfit or it's a hassle to use, but idk... i'm not looking for too much, just happy we can dive again. the important is the functionality, i like what we have right now.

I definitely like the NH ones. In NL, I actually only liked the red and white striped one the most. In NH, i really love the Nook design! It's my favourite colour and it contrasts so well with the black! I also really like the leaf print ones and the striped ones are cute enough. I just wish there were more options!

If you haven't already seen it, you can purchase a full body wetsuit for Nook Miles in black and green. It's my current favorite right now actually it's simplistic but clean I love the design

I hated NL's wetsuits for being too form-fitting, turning our characters into frumpy beans, but the only wetsuits in NH that are better are the leaf-print suits. Those at least pass for some semblance of fashion, but I'd like more designs still.

What I'd really like is some kind of frilly two-piece swimsuit like they have in Pocket Camp, but I don't see that happening within this game's design ethic...

I just remember the striped wetsuit in acnl was highly sought for because it was only purchasable if you did the online island tour where you get matched with a rando and people were worried about griefers. So when I saw the default ones are the striped, I thought more people would be happy because there it is, and in more colors.

I liked the full black one (sorta looked like a batman suit) in acnl and I paired it with my favorite superhero villain mask.

But, I'm pretty good with what we have so far. I like my jailbird wetsuit and then the leaf patterned ones are cute. In general, not a big fan of clothing that hugs our potato bodies, but yeah. lol

I like the new wet suits but I think they are also a bit lame? I expected at least 4-5 different designs but we only have 2. Both being a bit boring and basic imo. I don't really like the busy pattern of the leaf wet suits but the striped ones are also not very cute. I hope they increase the varients like our tools many varients, but I can't see that happening unfortunately.

I thought there would be more designs, but i love some of the ones we already got like the green&black nook miles wetsuit, i just want more colors for it since it might be my favorite design from all three.

I like that NH's striped wetsuit improves on the striped one from NL, making it sleeveless and adding the little anchor to it.

The Nook Inc variant looks great, but maybe joining it we could have some more long-sleeved options in a few different colors like in NL. But NH's leaf-print suits trump them all imo - I've decided to pick the blue one as my go-to suit for summer with the Nook Inc one hanging out in my storage for winter.

I had forgotten what the NL ones looked like but based on the pics above I think I prefer the NH ones. The black one with the anchor is cute, so I like how the NH ones look when you drop them.
I'll probably mostly use the stripey ones and the blue/green leaf print one in NH. I'm glad we can get all the colours. The blue and white striped one looks cute with my surfboards on the beach.
