that sometimes, villagers ask you for something in your pockets in exchange for some bells, they name a price, and when they hand it to you, it's a different amount of bells? I usually noticed this from Kid Cat.

or maybe it was intended to be like that? anyways, if I'm missing out some in-game detail or so, please feel free to point it out ; v ;

I'm not the best at explaining so if it's not that clear, then I'm so sorry!

"Hey, ____! I noticed your _______ there and I was looking for the exact same thing! Can I pay you 98 bells for it?"

*clicks yes*

"Oh, great! Here's your 108 bells!"

O.O they give more or less? I never notice and usually I don't even care how much they give me lol more like my villager try to dig out any money in my pocket by keep forcing me to buy their items urgh....

I have Kid Cat, when I start up that copy again I'm going to try it the next time he asks for something to see if just he is bugged.

It miiight have to do with your luck for the day? Like having feng shui might make them give you more, but bad luck with male villagers might've made you receive less?

My fishing tourney glitched with numbers too last time.
I had the record of like idk 7.25 and then I give a 7.50 fish and I didn't beat my record? But when I gave the 7.55 fish I did? WTF? really? You said both the numbers, too?
It happened at LEAST 5 times.
I wish I took a photo of it, but he never said both numbers AT ONCE for good proof. =/
