Am I the only one who can't wait until high school is over but is feeling unready?

Enjoy pre-adulthood while you can! Until you have to pay for rent, insurance, utilities, groceries, laundry, etc ... Blah!

well, im still in middle school, but yeah, teens i've met have said that the H.S. years go by like ZIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck on high school!

I wanted to get out of highschool too but now I kind of wish I could go back. I'm not prepared for adulthood. Or rather, don't want to move on ; ~;

I disliked high school a lot near the end. It was scary entering college, but the freedom is amazing. Being in university still sucks, I guess. But high school sucks more (and at least I can now take classes that actually interest me).

I graduated high school this year and although my life isn't going perfectly, you couldn't pay me to go back there. My high school years were miserable and if I have one thing to be happy about, it's that I never have to return

I'm ready to move on from high school as well. At the same time I appreciate the ease of being a teenager.

I want adulthood but I don't know if I can do it.

I'm...ready to be ready to be an adult, if that makes sense.

There is no Canadian education system.. It's provincial. So it's probably the province you're in just has a bad education system or you just aren't very good at school.
I'm in New Brunswick, one of the poorest provinces, and I know so many people that are over prepared for university. My friends have all went in fine and I'm finishing High School this year. It's probably more about your work ethic than anything.

I went to an IB HS in Alberta, as far as I know the academic system there is pretty rigid because I think they're one of the few provinces that has a provincial final exam worth 50% of your grade. I never said I did poorly in school lmao my avg was like 95% and I got scholarships for university, and my avg now isnt too bad either, it's just university was nothing like anything I learned in HS, from second year on anything I learned in HS was basically useless. Anyone who thought HS was stressful will struggle a lot in uni imo, considering looking back HS was basically a joke compared to the workload/difficulty of material in uni.
