Alternative ice cream

Mochi ice cream is so good (funnily enough, we usually just buy the strawberry kind LOL)... I also like ice cream cake from time to time!! I also got to have fried ice cream with a honey drizzle at a Mexican restaurant pnce, and oh my god it was the BEST

My mom made deep fried ice cream when I was little, it has been a while ...

What on earth is deep fried ice cream? A drink? 😂
It a scoop of ice cream (frozen hard) dipped in a batter and then fried. It's really good.

literally the best vehicle for ice cream honestly

The coffee house at my college used to serve something called a calzookie

Which was a scoop of ice cream on top of a warmed but not fully cooked through cookie

I think other places call it a cazookie or pizookie, but most places look like its cake or brownie or a really thick cookie in a ramekin

You have to get the cookie to ice cream ratio juuuust right, so there's enough crispy cookie on the outside and then cookie dough in the middle where the scoop of ice cream is. Works better with a relatively large/flat cookie on a plate! That was the magic of the calzookie

Mochi ice cream is so good! I love the banana flavor!

absolutely ice cream cake! I've always been a huge fan and in recent years taken up making ice cream cakes for my brother's birthday each year. 🎂

I'm boring and typically just consume ice cream in the standard way.

I don't drink soda anymore, but root beer floats are awesome. Also, only had ice cream cake a couple times, but that's pretty good too.

Never had mochi anything before, much less mochi ice cream, but the posts in here make me want to try it sometime.
