Alt character can't enter rv.

I have a question I hope someone can answer. I'm playing one of my towns and summoned Celeste to visit my rv park. My mayor can go in with no problem, but my alt characters cannot. They all have Wisp's lamp and plenty of meow coupons. I can't figure out what the problem is.

What happens when you try to enter the RV as your alt character? I've entered the RVs as my alt character easily! The only difference I've noticed is that an alt character can't convince a villager to move into your town.

I could be wrong but I think I read somewhere that if you scan a special amiibo in via card (rather than the figure) then you can only visit them with the mayor/character that scanned them in.

Hmm. It's the figure, not the card. When the alt tries to go in. It says something like it's closed. The mayor has no problem entering.

I would also like to add that I don't have this problem in my Joy town. My other characters enter the rv's just fine. Even the ones that I scanned in. In my farm town, the alts can enter the rv that we get daily, but not the ones I scan in with the amiibo figures.

is it possibly wisp? has the character you're having trouble with found wisp around town yet?

Maybe you need to talk to wisp once using the alt characters? (even if you don't scan an amiibo). Probably you've forgotten to do that first-hand when you've gotten them the lamp.

Have the alt characters met Celeste before? Like in the museum shop? I know you can't have characters you haven't met go to the RV, maybe the same goes for characters who haven't met them not being able to go into their RV.

I thought about that, because my other characters got the lamp, but never spoke to wisp, so I did have them place the lamp in the house and try to talk to Wisp, but he just said that thing about only getting one wish per day. I still couldn't enter the rv.

That could very well be the problem. I don't play with the alts very often. They probably haven't spoke to Celeste. I'll try this after work.

Can your alts see Celeste in the museum? I guess if they didn't scan in her figure then they can't visit but that's very odd.
