Already running out of NMT and still no snooty villager?

I'm island hopping to replace Snooty with another snooty villager... And out of pretty much 60 NMT.. I've only run into ONE snooty villager, Claudia.. I thought I was going to have an easy time since I selected 5 potential snooty villagers that I would invite to my town.. But it's like snooty villagers are so rare! Is this a thing??

I'm looking for either Judy, Diana, Whitney, Blaire, or Vivian. Depending who I see first. I just used up my last NMT XD Guess it'll be a random move in tomorrow!

I love Ankha XD But I'm trying to follow my self imposed rule of not getting a villager the "easy way". To be honest, I have all the amiibos actually LOL. But I only let myself use it once, for Marina. And I kinda want the villager to be fresh, instead of coming from somewhere else. But thank you soo much for the offer <3 I really appreciate it! Ankha is one of my favourites! She's actually in my New Leaf town, which is why I didn't add her to my list this time

Yeah, that's all it is unfortunately. Luckily however, after I ran out if my 60 NMT, my boyfriend printed me some of his and I got Blaire after 4 tickets XD So my boyfriend's tickets are lucky I guess lol. I can rest now hahaha. Thank goodness cuz this little adventure took me all day today.. but at least I finished the nook mile for shaking furniture out of trees so it wasn't all a waste hehe

Well, in my case, I spent around 50 NMT and not a single cat villager met on the mystery islands. RNG in this game really messes you up. Either you get very lucky, or you are filled with despair.

If you TT at all, the campsite method can be a lot more effective than island tours if you're missing a snooty personality altogether!

I am sure the poster knows that doing time travel is the quickest and easiest solution.

I also know that it's frustrating not to get the villager you want after using multiple tickets.

However, this is what we want to experience. The journey is more important than the goal. Don't get me wrong. I am not saying that those players who use time travel are impatient or anything. I respect their time and dedication to cycle the villagers. The poster is just venting. Sadly, all we can do is offer emotional support.

mystery islands roll species first, then randomly selects someone from that species, with no weighting on personality whatsoever.

that being said, running through 60 NMT and not getting any snooties whatsoever is just plain unlucky (especially since there's 65 of them!).
