I'm serious, if they built their houses any closer, they'd be underwater. :| First Blanche moved in. Her house is literally one tile from the river. So close that I'm 100% sure if I tried to build something there, Isabelle would say no. I can walk behind it but can't or anything. Like I said, one tile.
Then yesterday I got my number one dreamie, Goldie, from a giveaway thread. Completely blanked about doing the reset trick, and so when I opened my game today...
Guess where her house is? It is ALSO one tile from the river!
I have all my bridges built so that's not the issue: the problem is, these houses are so close that unless I go to the opposite bank, I can't even see if there are fish. Blanche I was irritated with but she'll leave eventually... Goldie I don't particularly want to let go.
Come on villagers, why is it so alluring to live basically IN the river? And any of your villagers have fetishes for building houses in the same, horrible spot over and over?
