All Froggie town :)

Well, I have an all bear town and an all deer town. I think frogs are going to be next.

What do you guys like?

Puddles
Raindrop
Lily Pad

I never use an umbrella in the rain and just love the idea of strolling though an all frog town where none of us use them!

I like "Puddles" the most because it sounds almost like "Cuddles" and (most, haven't met them all) frogs in AC are very cute and 'cuddle-able' in my opinion.
The name might sound the most 'plain' and 'un-magical' at first but that's until you realize that it's the cutest of all the options. \^~^/

Thank you! Actually, Puddles is my favorite too, lol. It's not fancy or beautiful, but it's adorable and charming. It's going to be a relaxed, fun town so I think it's pretty perfect. And hey, Puddles can say, "I'm Puddles from Puddles!"

I know, but I gotta have Puddles in the town! I love her too much to leave her out. Thank you so much for your comment I love Dewdrop too. It is my daughter's favorite as well.

I wouldn't mind that if it was my own town. Seeing as I never played the English version of any AC game, the whole name-thing can get very confusing (e.g. in my version Punchy is named Julian and the Julian you guys know is Jimmy). So I would just try to have fun with it, in the end there is always the chance that a name means something else- or resembles the name of a character in another language. What's important is that it's not offensive in any language and that it sounds good to you. ^^

Yeah,I like Puddles from your list.I think it's more unique and it's appropriate for a rainy town full o' froggos.I thought about naming my frog town Lily Pad but I settled on Newt for some odd reason.If you need some villagers I have several froggie Amiibo cards.Just let me know who you're looking for.

Hi Nunna! I've got all the froggy cards, but thank you! The only difficult part is choosing who to move in because they are all so wonderful.

Either Puddles, or Lily Pad honestly. I prefer Lily Pad because I love watching frogs bask on lily pads, it’s like their little home. Would be super cool to name a town that, since it’ll be an all frog town, and that’ll signify that all the froggies live on (technically in) a lily pad

Agree with orchidflesh - Puddles or Lily Pad - but given you would/could have Puddles as a villager - then Lily Pad wins the day for me, good name.
The only reason why I don't like Dewdrop and Raindrop as much is I find them harder to say, slightly harsher?

I just want to thank everyone who was kind enough to share their opinions on this new town! I haven't actually created it yet and honestly, STILL don't know which name I am going to end up going with. I am still pretty torn between Dewdrop and Puddles. One is so delicate and evocative of little drops of rain on greenery. And the other just reminds me of joyfully splashing through puddles as a child. I suppose it may end up being two names written on a slip of paper and tossed into a hat, lol. Again, thank you so everyone. You are all amazing

Puddles is the villager that either greets my Mayor at the station or moves in very early on in most of my towns. She's also the one who's first to ping to leave and always gets a NO because I've become attached to the little fart...

I think I would choose Lily Pad, because of it's strong association with frogs, and it's cute. BUT I like Puddles just as much otherwise.

I think Dewdrop is very cute. My grandpa used to call me that when I was younger. Lily Pad is pretty too, but if you're going to set the dream address to a time with rain, then I feel like Dewdrop is better. Lily Pad would be pretty during cherry blossom season in the afternoon or early evening, even though it's commonly used.

Frogs are some of my favorite species so I look forward to seeing what you do with it.

Also, it would be interesting if you could get a town with 6 ponds, the maximum amount. Building with them might be an interesting challenge, and it would be fitting for a frog town.
