All deer town or switch it up? HEEEELP

So for a while now i've been trying to get an all deer town, and I already have 5 deer out of ten (fuschia, Zell, Bam, Bruce, Deirdre) and ive spent quite a bit of bells on getting them.

buuuuut I feel like thats kinda boring. It just so happens that most of my favorite villagers are deer (zell, fuschia, bam, deirdre) but some of the deer I don't particularly care for (fauna, lopez). I have ocd so i like everything to be in a particular order or all follow a theme. So i dunno if i should just get my fave villagers (like ruby and punchy <3) and not care if they dont all follow a theme or continue with trying to get an all deer town. /:

Maybe you can try to add another kind of animal on your town, so you dont have full deer, How about wolves and deer town, or something llike that, deer and elephants, deer and penguins, try looking for other villagers that u may like.

Maybe you could look for villager you like with similar looking houses? That way you can get a variety of animals, but satisfy your want for a cohesive looking town

Yeah, sorry if my post was bit confusing, I meant half and half town. I suggested to see all available villagers to see wich species do you find more appealing, or you can continue on your quest of a full-deer town.

I had half deer and half bears before. I called the deer venison for the predators.
It really depends on you on whether you want a full deer town or switch it up. All deer town isn't bad cuz the deer have their own species conversation.
My understanding of the same species' conversation so far...

I often catch Fauna talking about the deer species fur cuz she will shed her baby spots (fur). She also strives to be a mature adult just like Bruce and Diana in the future.
Zell and Lopez will have conversations about them being the same person, both of them are freaked out by their similarities being smug deer.
Deirdre and Fauna have huge brother complexes with Erik and Beau. Erik and Beau are best friends however they will argue about their favorite foods. This results Erik and Beau playing together and fighting all the time.
Also Bam is an idiot according to Diana. Diana will complain about your house if she smells a subtle scent of Bam.
Bam and Fauna are play buddies. They will often ask you to watch over them as they play with toys.

Deer and Rabbits would be neat. Or Deer and Wolves.

Or if you like Punchy and Ruby, you could do 1/2 deer villagers, and 1/2 villagers that are black, white, and black & white.

Aw, that's so cute of them! I love your town, and I love all the deer! I was actually gonna post your town info so the OP could visit your dream and see how they like an all deer town. It really is personal preference, of course, but your town is a great example of how cute it could be.

mishka --- Why don't you get one of your dreamies, like Ruby or Punchy as you said, and just hang out with them for a while. If you end up liking them around, maybe you can find a new theme to appease your OCD. If you don't like them, you can let them leave and continue with the deer.

I don't have anything against all species town but I do feel like the game can lose its appeal if all your villagers are the same. Switching up species helps keep it interesting imo. You can certainly have a lot of one species (I have 3 cats, wanted 4 but Lolly D: ) But it's your town. If you want an all deer town go for it. But for me I just don't like all of the deer that much. I would consider doing an all cat or all squirrel or all bear/bearcub town, but I'm not a huge fan of some of the deer. (I'm looking at you Bam)

Just go for whatever you want. That means abandoning the idea of the all-deer town. People have already attempted that idea before, so I think a variety of species is better. In fact I have 10 different species of villagers in my town.

Yeah, I like that idea. I think it might get kind of boring if you don't really switch it up.

I don't know if you're still looking for ideas, but doing a town with all forest animals could be cute. You already have a bunch of dear...so like ducks, frogs (like lily?), bears (grizzly would be great if you like him), bunnies.... birds would be nice too if you're fond of any of them.
