Remember I had a buch of errors for Moonsong? Well, now they're back. I have tried everything, including pushing the cartridge in and out. It worked for a bit. Then, the errors came again. Do you know why this happens?

Hey, hello! :) How are Muffy and Whitney doing?

Do you have problems only with this cartridge, or other games have also been affected? If yes, it may be something with the 3DS programmation and needs repairing. If it's only this game, then perhaps the inner data has been corrupted.

Oh yes! Muffy and Whitney are doing great in Fallow! It's just the cartridge. Could it be fixed?

gah corruption that word scares me lol

well i think its corrupted.... but im no professional, actually im pretty dense

Well, sadly I'm not an expert, but as little as I know... if it's only the cartridge, then something has gone bad. Normally it would affect just the current game, and erasing the data and starting anew would likely make everything to fall in place again. But I'm not sure. so of course I won't tell you "Go and delete your town"! I may be wrong and you'll do it for nothing. However, if the issue persisted after starting a new game, then it would be sure the cartridge data was corrupted and pretty much useless 'til someone (a Nintendo technic) reprogrammes it.

As far as I can tell, it just says "an error has occured" I would just call it corrupted because I have no hope.

Oh no :( if it's only this cartridge then I'm not sure there's much you could do I'm afraid :( how old is the game? I was thinking you could maybe contact Nintendo and see if they could suggest something which could mean you get to keep your town. Sadly if it's corrupted then I don't think they could help though :(

I got it last Christmas. Yep, it's the only cartridge that does that. My other town is perfectly fine. I may call Nintendo, but I'm afraid because my villagers might leave. :(

I don't think I saw what happened before, so can I ask when are you getting this error?

There are two types of errors that are going on. A black screen like everytime you pull out the cartridge while it's still running, except it says "An error has occured. Hold down the power button blah blah blah" and another eith a white box in the center of the home screen that refreshes and tries again. Sorry if not too descriptive, but when it happens again, I'l post it. It also happens at the most randomest times.

The first one I've had before a few times when using homepass with my ds open (I delete the main connection so it's in constant streetpass mode while open) and playing any game while streetpasses are coming in from it.

The second sounds similar to what the eshop and other things do when trying to connect to your nintendo id account bit, but that's just a guess from what you've put.

From that I wonder if it's a connection thing, but if it's only doing it with AC it doesn't really make much sense!

Are the connectors on your cartridge clean? There should be info online somewhere, but I think it's a tiny bit of vinegar on a cotton bud (q-tip) and just rub it gently on the gold connector bits, blow on it to dry then you're good to go. But obviously check online in case I'm wrong about the vinegar!

Oh no! If the source of the issue is the cartridge, I don't think there's much you can do... :( Best thing to do is contact Nintendo, and see what they can come up with. I'm sorry this problem persists!

Yo! I don't know if you are aware, but if it's the cart you might still have hope of salvaging this!

However: It involves a save manager app only available through homebrew or a modded 3ds :<
