After playing the game for 3 months, there are a few things I hope they add

Yes, I know they are still updating the game, but I am just hoping they add some of these features in upcoming updates and I'm sure I'm not the only one

• One is an add to cart option. The way it is now buying clothes at the Able Sisters is tedious.
• Dream suite. It was a great feature in New Leaf, visiting people's island without actually having to visit them.
• Hair highlights. I don't highlight my hair in real life but I think it would be cute to have it in the game. Also make up (mascara, lipstick, etc)
• Path and fences line up.
• Be able to customize items bought with Nook Miles like the (playground, drink machine, etc)
• Redd visits more than one time a year
• Advanced terraforming, purchased with Nook Miles. Terraform more than one tile at a time
• More varied villager dialogue. If i have to hear one more time about how one of my villagers is going to run around the island a set amount of times, I'm going to pull my hair out
• Cafe. I, personally, am addicted to coffee in real life. Coffee back in the game would be great.
• And lastly, after their shops are closed, it would be great to see Mable, Sable, Tommy and Timmy wandering around the town. That would be cute.

these are some nice ideas! i’m especially rooting for the add-to-cart option, dream suite and the roost! though i’m not too sure how the makeup one would play out, especially the lipstick part, since we don’t really have actual lips lmao

Out of those, I think the more "urgent" ones would be to add a cart option to the Able Sisters, as well as an option to check whether you already have something or not. I can't begin to explain how many times I've had to leave the changing room to check if I had something, or I've bought something I already had multiple copies of.
I'd also like to see Redd in the weekly rotation and Leif out of it. He can come with only fakes and/or paintings and statues you already have, so I think it'd be a fair addition.

Great ideas!! One of the things I’m hoping for (but not expecting) is, like the dream suite did it in new leaf, the ability to see other player characters even if they aren’t playing. It’d be nice to walk into someone’s house and see their character sitting on a chair, or laying in bed. I definitely would Love to see more done with fences and pathing as someone with a lot of it

Yeah, I bought three of the same item by accident because I didn't know I had them. Putting a checkmark next to the item would really be helpful.

I also hope for more minigames we can play with villagers/online friends, and of course diving to be added in as well.

These would be great features to have! I really hope they add the cart in Able Sisters though. The amount of time I've spent buying clothes there is insane.

All of these are so great! I said in another thread that i love this game and it is one of my favorite ac games but it does need improvments like these!

I really wish that the snack and drink machines gave your player snack/drink to hold and consume (similar to the ice cream cones/ new year's cider in new leaf). They don't even need to be real items it'd just be cute to interact a bit more with the Nook Miles decorations (I would like Filbert to be able to splash around in the pool, please). I guess more item interaction is something people have been wanting since the beginning though!

I can see some of these coming true, actually. Cafe is for sure coming back, so that's a given. I also think it may be possible to see the Able Sisters and Nook siblings hanging out at The Roost. I remember some character would show up in previous games (though it was never Tommy and Timmy and I don't think the Able sisters were there, either). I can see them fixing Redd. I can see a return - or some form - of the Dream Suit (considering it was in the more recent data mines, apparently).

Quality of life updates are a big maybe, considering how Nintendo can be.

I don't see them changing dialogue (and I personally have no problem with it); but I can see them adding more dialogue if that's something that'll cheer you up; nor including an advanced terraforming tool. I also highly doubt they'll let us customize the Nook items. I think, part of the reason they do this, is to promote trading between players (?).

I want there to be some kind of visiting TV game show where the winner gets to redesign their house.

Of course, the villagers would turn to their good pal - us - to design their house and arrange their furniture for them, 'cos we don't tend to place beds in front of drawers or use black bass as ornaments.
